Good Points: MUST READ!!
General comments: Torey Hayden is a complete inspiration to all. There are a lot of sad books about child neglect and abuse around at the moment but her books are totally different as they show courage strength and love and are full of hope. Sometimes hope is all these children have I absolutely loved every bit of this book and felt as though I travelled this bumpy journey with her and Sheila. This is a must read.

Once started Torey.L. Hayden, One Child I could not bring myself to put it down. Parts of the book upset me so much I cried, others made me feel so angry but the one thing that shines out is just what amazing things can be achieved when someone is willing to offer pure, unconditional love to another person. No matter how lost they may seem. Torey Hayden is an angel!
