“In the heart of the old town!”

We will definitely be back, the apartment was the best you can find considering location and quality. It's next to the Ramblas and in the middle of the narrow streets of the gothic quarter, very authentic! Allthough maybe not for everybody. We were also very lucky because the weather was beautiful so it was a great stay

“Very pleasant stay”

We really had a pleasant stay in Barcelona and it is partly thanks to Habitat Apartments! From the moment we arrived we felt safe because the representative was already in the apartment waiting for us. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere we wanted. We would rent the same apartment again. It was clean, comfortable, and had a lot of kitchen utensils (we love to cook!). We will definitely recommend the agency to our friends and family.

We loved our stay in Habitat Apartments Lauria, we actually stayed in the apartment called Lauria Veranda apartment which is an apartment with 3 bedrooms. We were 6 people and had plenty of space! the staff who received us also was very nice and helpful. The location is great because it is next to Paseo de Gracia. I would definitely recommend this apartment! We will be back! Thank you for a great stay.

We had a great stay in Rambla Deluxe B apartment. Location of the apartment is is unbeatable. The staff we dealt with while getting possession was very professional and their management is responsive. Everything in the apartment was functional and turned out as advertized.

“Very disappointing”

The apartment we booked with Habitat Apartments in Barcelona was unsatisfactory. When we raised the issue with the Habitat Apartments office the were not helpful and said the apartment was just as advertised, which it's not. We were in Barcelona for 13 nights and it would have been reasonable for the office to change our apartment. The pictures on the web site must have been taken when the apartment was fresh because it was quite warn. We knew from the pictures there would be books on the shelves but we were not expecting to be staying with the owners' personal items. We paid for an apartment where we felt like unwelcome guests. We haD 1/2 a small wardrobe and two draws for our use. Our kitchen items had to remain on the counter since the owners had all the cabinet space filled with their things, to include a box of open cereal from who knows when. The bathroom was only 2 1/2' feet wide, and that's without the counter and sink (the picture must have been taken with a wide-angle lens). There's no place to hang a towel in the bathroom so we used the drying rack on the solaria, visible from the dining table. I wasn't expecting to be 'camping'. The couch was not usable because it is so worn. The living room carpet was in need of a cleaning or replacement. The entrance way and common halls of the building are dirty - not just worn, but dirty. We understand an apartment rental service cannot be responsible for the condition of the property, but we do expect responsive and positive customer service, both which were lacking with Habitat Apartments. We will not use their service again and will not recommend it to others. Stick with a known booking agency which allows cancellations/adjustments and has a proven track record for customer service.

We regret that these guests were not satisfied with this apartment. We have reviewed all of the issues commented to avoid the same situation in the future. The apartment owner has been contacted in order to remove items from the kitchen to leave more storage space for our guests. The decoration of this apartment is homely and we intend that guests feel welcome during the stay so we are very sorry that these guests did not feel comfortable.

The photos on our website are true to life. We do not use wide angle lens to give the impression of more space as we believe in giving our guests a real impression of an apartment.

All in all we have checked this apartment to ensure that all guests feel happy with their choice.

The apartment was dingy, not to be confused with homey. We selected the apartment because it looked homey. When we contacted Habitat Apartments they discounted our concerns and refused to provide alternative accommodations, although they have since made some corrections we identified. After our stay, Habitat Apartments requested a review and comments. However, they refused to post my review on their web site because it was not favorable. They confirmed, in an email, they do this as a matter of policy. Those making reservations through Habitat Apartments should be aware Habitat Apartments only posts favorable reviews, so it is impossible to make a fully informed decision when booking. I will not book with them again because of this questionable policy.

“Good place for business trip”

I arrived on a business trip for a few days and all seemed good. Full board a good option as then you don't have to think about anything, so in general it did exactly what it says on the tin. No more, no less.

“We were left waiting in the street for more than 2...”

We were left waiting in the street for more than 2 hours for someone to turn up with the keys, then they told us we had been double booked and had to wait even longer.
When we finally got in the apartment was dirty, cleaners turned up soon after but were rude and kicked us out rather than just cleaning around us (we had been travelling for 12 hours and only wanted to sit on the balcony with a coffee!!)
We also had to wait in till 1.30 the next day for someone to turn up so that we could pay, they then changed the locks while we were out and we had to chase them down for the new set so we could get in!!
The apartment was lovely but the total lack of organisation and customer service means I would never return and cerrtainly never recommend it, hassle is the last thing you want on holiday!

“We have just got back from Barcelona after staying in...”

We have just got back from Barcelona after staying in the Unic Apartment, run by Habitat Apartments for ten days and it was fantastic!
We was in a perfect position for everything...metro two minute walk, supermarket the same, Barcelona centre ten minute walk and so much more.
The apartment was very clean and wel presented and looked as good as it does on the website. We was met by a lovely lady who showed us where eveything was before leaving us to our break. We was there for five days business and five days fun and this apartment and loaction suited both perfectly. The hotels are very expensive for the same quality as this apartment and this worked out at 40' pppn for two of us...so we had a room each and tons of room.
I will be going back to this apartment/company as I want to see more of Barcelona and I will be recommending this apartment/company to all my friends.

“The customer service is so poor that it makes it...”

The customer service is so poor that it makes it impossible to give a positive review of Habitat Apartments in Barcelona. Satellite TV was down -- we were told the satellite was down in the area abd it wasn't their fault -- for two week!! The ceiling in one of the bedrooms fell down and without demanding the mess be cleaned up it would not have happened. The wireless password for the internet was incorrect and we were told that was not part of the package just the internet connection -- the car service from the airport at twice the price of a regular taxi and nothing better than a regular taxi carried my wife and mother in law to the door and refused to help carry their bags up 20 stairs-- when confronted with these issues everything was someone elses fault and not one thing was corrected -- they thought a 60 euro refund would shut us up.

We stayed in one of the apartments from habitatapartments and it was really great. The apartment was very luxury and clean, they were waiting in the apartment for us to do the payment quickly, and we didn't have any other problems.
I really can recommend these apartments, as I think its the best choice if you want a luxury place for a good price.
