The Sound quality is AMAZING! If you play a song you hear every detail! The screen is Great. Graphics are amazing too. Has blue ray (Y) Built in webcam is good, you can change saturation ect. I go on it every day and use it for almost everything, Internet, msn, itunes, adobe workshops, Windows media, microsoft documents, editing sound, games (sims), DVDs. The lot. It's stylish and flashy, with the touch pad on the left side for media. The only bad points are the battery life and the keypad needs a little more work.
But over all it's an amazing laptop that is worth its money. Loads of space on it and as I said before nothing can compare to how good the sound quality of this Acer Aspire is!!!!

My Acer was returned to PC World after 4 months as the Blue ray did not work, it was sent away and came back with the same problem, PC World then exchanged it for a Sony Vaio (at higher cost)
I note other have had the same problem, perhaps Acer were a little quick in getting this model out there without enough testing.
Just waiting for my other Acer bought at the same time to go wrong
Not happy with Acer but at least PC World did what they could.

I had mine for only 6 weeks before the blu-ray drive stopped working. I took it back to PC World where i bought it and was told it would need a new blu-ray drive and would have to be sent for repair. 2 weeks later they are still trying to locate the parts for the repair'' and don't know when i will get it back. HOW PANTS IS THAT. I have alway bought acers but i will think again next time.

talking of the 13.3" panel equipped /3Gb Ram/320GB HDD/HD3650 Mobility GPU version.

Being mostly bedridden, could no longer use my desktop (overkill home build used for mild gaming and multimedia production), and my old lappy (HP zv5464ea) was lacking gaming needs due to it's one failing (GF4Go GPU),

So when i had to put the HP to pasture, i needed a new lappy that allowed for decent multimedia use (creation and playback), have a half-decent panel (have a 42" LCD HD TV when i need better viewi ...

Usual excellent Acer robust engineering and build quality. Swapped processor for a T9300, changed to 4Gb of CL4 RAM and a 7200rpm 250Gb HD, easy to do and gives super performance. Mine has regular HD screen (1344x768) not the 1920x1200 but with good bluray discs, like spiderman 3, is brilliant. It can also drive a 1920x1200 tv through HDMI.
Make sure you choose a 'G' model (ie 6920G, not 6920) if you want a dedicated graphics card. This is essential for gaming. Extremely easy to upgrade.

Feels solid, key operation feels positive and give good feedback. Decent screen, and overall feature list. Veiwing Blue-ray discs such as "Planet Earth" etc the benefits of the screen's 16:9 format speak for themselves.

Early days but so far I'm impressed. I wanted to have a laptop capable of playing games away from home and whilst I haven't pushed it yet it seems to cope with stuff so far. Looks slick so will appeal to gadget conscious men like me.
