“izy wizzy just not very busy”

the handle is to low if your tall, the mower worked for a while and then she stalled.I took it for repair but alas shes no more, all in all pretty awful. Honda izy a couple of yrs old.. If i was to say to you this machine was great my nose would grow at a fair old rate(just like my grass) DONT BUY ONE (read more)

“Very Dissapointed”

We bought our Izy at the end of 2009, used a few times at the end of the season, seemed to work well. In 2010 after a few cuts had to take it back to the supplier, it had to have a new head which took nearly 3 months over the summer, this was done under warranty. The next year the crank had to be straightened cos our garden isn't a bowling green and does have a few tree roots and bumps. We did the first cut of 2012 yesterday and think the clutch may be going. I wrote a report last September when I first bought the Honda Izy towards the end of the season and after about 4 mows .
A new year and the grass has started to grow again but the mower doesn't ! It coughs and splutters and cuts out. Endless pulls on the cord and it will eventually restart for 5 minutes then hiccups and thats it.
What do I think now - rubbish. It may cut great when its working but if it doesn't start its USELESS !
Never had this problem with my Briggs and Stratton. (read more)

Iam very pleased I paid a bit more for my Honda Izy Power 16" Mower ,easy to start and use .The mower is much quieter than a usual petrol mower and the automatic choke is wonderful.I used to pull my arm off with my old Westwood Mower (26 years old).Life just got a lot easier - would highly recommend this model and got £68 discount for cash at the dealers. Having used the Honda Izy 46 Push Petrol Lawn Mower for a month now I am so pleased I paid the bit extra to get a classier mower. Its quieter, mow's brilliantly and, for a shorter person, the height of the handle is ideal but it does feel quite heavy and can be awkward to see how full the bag is but overall 5 stars.
I have not had any of the reliabilty problems mentioned in a previous review, I hope that's a one off ! (read more)

In my opinion the Honda Izy 46 Push Petrol Lawn Mower is rubbish and very unreliable. Began to misfire after only a few months and 16 months on is useless. Dealer is rude and unhelpful. Not what you'd expect from Honda. Buy something - anything - else. (read more)
