Good Points: Stunning looking venue, grounds are lovely.
Bad Points: We thought the staff were incredibly rude with a bad attitudeFunction / DJ room far to small, you could NOT get a live band in there at all ( and we spoke to many bands on this )Rooms are generally spread around, you can't use the whole house and it is very bitty! Got their quotes wrong and then had attitude when we queried.
General comments: Where do we start with Gosfield Hall Wedding Venue in Essex. The venue is a little spread out, function/DJ room far to small for a band. Some staff were so rude that we have never spoken with such rude people. The staff were the main reason we did not book with Gosfield Hall, that and the DJ room being far to small for a band. But we may have compromised on that if the staff had better manners. Same attitude at the other venues the same people own too. Such a shame for such beautiful surroundings.Would never recommend this place based on our experience with the staff there.
