“These are the first and only set of pads i have played...”

These are the first and only set of pads i have played in, however, i have put them to good use and found they stand up to the abuse that i have thrown at them. I wear an XL and as such expected them to be bulky and heavy but once i got the straps adjusted and pulled the laces tight i found i could almost forget i was wearing them, until i needed to smash through a d-lineman and then they gave me the size and confidence to do so.
