“The best, most honest debt management company”

I had dealt with a debt management plan previously but changed to Harrington Brooks about 12 months ago. They have dealt with my debts on my behalf professionally and kept me informed every month - each time detailing what I have paid, what I still owe and how long it will take to pay off. “Takes the stress out of debt payments”

I have been a client of Harrington Brooks for almost 6 years and now I am finally free from debt. Harrington Brooks consolidated all my debts into one affordable monthly payment based on my circumstances. I would recommend Harrington Brook to anyone. Polite friendly staff. Excellent service. “Administration Assistance Failure”

overall I have had favorable service. However, recently I was contacted by an administrator that I have a refund coming back to me from my shoppers accounts (2) and that the check would be sent directly to me. I have not received it to this date January23 2015...I called-reported to Harrington Brooks and I was told being that the check would be sent to me .. that I need to call the check issuers. Dear Sir / Madam

Thanks for taking the time to review us.
It is our aim to give the highest standard of service to all customers at every stage of their plan.

While I'm not able to identify your case from this review; I understand how this delay must be frustrating you.

However; we have service level agreements with creditors whereby they must respond to our requests for information or action within a certain time. This can be a week or more.

Some creditors tend to deal with direct requests from their customers sooner than through an intermediary like ourselves. So It's not like we were asking you to negotiate your payments to them - it's you asking them to make payments of money owed to you; for the sake of saving you time.

That's my understand of the issue you have raised.

If this was not explained to you like this when we applogise for making it sound as if, as you say, being given the run around.

If this is not resolves to your complete satisfaction - but contact customer support and cite this review and the response I have given.

“Helpful, professional, knowledgable”

At the end of 2013 , I made a bad mistake and took out a pay day loan, I then took another and found myself spiralling out of control and making only a dent paying of monthly fees due to the huge interest. I made contact with Harrison brooks and I was highly impressed with their professionalism and set up a manageable plan. I started my payment plan five years ago as I was in trouble financially and couldn't manage my debt. Throughout the whole process HB have been professional and compassionate about my situation. Sometimes the payments have been hard to manage but HB have allowed me to miss a payment then catch up later. I really felt they were on my side and working for me, instead of working for the companies I owed money to. We are very pleased with the support we have had from everyone at Harrington Brooks. They dealt with everything from start to finish from negotiating with our creditors to helping us sort out our finances. Always were kept up to date how things were going & sent monthly statements to show us exactly who was being paid & when. I believe the calls and emails should be monitored. Received more correspondence from yourselves. When you work and still recurve calls when you are informed of best times to contact. The idebt plan is good for the most part, however if an offer is first declined by a creditor HB are slow in following up with second offers, on the whole the process of starting the plan and getting it going seems to take a quite some time. But it's a good service once fully set up. Undoubtedly, the HB service saved my neck, but they aren't the only people providing this service, and other people probably do it better. Their communication is very poor, nobody ever seems to know what their colleagues are doing, and some of their account management is sloppy at best and negligent at worst. After a nasty split with partner my financial situation was dire to say the least.... Store cards, loans, credit cards all chasing me for money I simply could not find. As I wasn't confident enough to deal with the creditors direct I was advised that the best solution for me would be to entrust a third party to act on my behalf. “Excellent Service and Advice”

I was nervous of getting in touch with someone about my financial mess but once the first contact had been made I felt as though I wasn't alone anymore to deal with everything myself. The staff explained the options available and didn't judge me at all. I now have a manageable budget and know that when creditors harrass me I only have to get in touch with the helpful staff at Harrington Brooks and they deal with it.
