I joined Virgin Money because it was offering a higher interest rate for its savings account than other banks/financial groups. I was impressed with the simplicity of its subscription process and platform. All key information is readily available, and the 'chat' solution was very responsive.

Virgin money have managed my ISA for the past 3 years & they have consistently provided me with the best interest rate in comparison to all other banks. I use online banking which I've always found very safe (in terms of account security) & user friendly. There's been a few occasions when I've entered my details wrong, you are locked out of the account with very few attempts (some may say it's an annoyance but makes it impossible for intruders to guess or attempt access) & I've always had great communication over the phone. Staff are extremely polite & friendly, asking if they may refer to you with your first name or by Mr/Mrs *surname*, they wish you a good day or evening at the end of the call. I will admit I've never had any major issue's that have required more communication than password resetting but with in my experience there's never been a problem & I can't brag enough about the wonderful service I've personally received.

Recently had the absolute pleasure visiting virgin monies Dorking branch. Never have I received such customer care, all the staff were switched on and articulate. Had a financial review with the branch manager who was incredibly knowledgeable, and helpfull. A huge thanks to the team for your time and advice, best customer service I have ever had!!

Just bought some shares in the Ftse all Sahre Tracker with |Virgin.
I have opened un Stakeholeder pensions with them.
So far (2months), I had to call Virgin 2twice. The staff as been very polite and helpful.
Clear information and easy to use. Too much paper letters sent by post I think (trees), but otherwise happy.

It's almost 3 years since I got my Virgin Credit Card and it's the best thing to happen to me financially! Application process was smooth and I got my card with a healthy limit and 10.9% APR (on of the lowest in the market then). Interest did go to 15.9% after about a year but you'd hardly get lower than that anywhere else.
The on-line account management is very convenient and efficient. I've used it to request limit increase on three occasions and gotten decision quickly.
Their balance transfer offers are available to both new and existing customers. Twice I've rescued myself using the cash in my current account option; paid no interest whatsoever for 12 months; and in that time balanced back my account with them. All it cost me was the usual 3% handling fee. Once my payment was late which caused my promotion to be taken off and was subsequently billed interest plus the extra £12 default charge on top of that. I got on the phone with them and they happily re-credited my account and restored the balance transfer offer.
