    Good Points: Beautiful warm sound, top notch hardware, quality like I've never seen in drums before. And I've owned quite a few different brands. The research and development that DW puts into their shells is unsurpassed by any other drum company.


    Bad Points: I wish they would've been cheaper, but now that I have them, they're worth the price.


    General comments: I did a lot of homework before buying my DW's. I looked at all the "top" brands and the DW's, to me, were the best choice. Highest resale value, top of the line quality, great sound, and solid construction. My stands are all DW's 9000 series, and my double pedal is a 5000 series. The absolute BEST there is in hardware. I know the other drum companies make good drums also, Tama, Pearl etc., etc., but the DW's quality just cannot be beaten by anybody. Look, I thought it was just all hype about the DW's, but now that I have my set for 4 months, and played a few gigs with them,..... It's not hype.
