Avoid Le Portel campsite at all cost. We are not normally fussy but this one is beyond the joke. The toilets are so dirty they are barely usable (probably why so many people there pee against the fence all over the campsite in daylight, sometimes right next to your tent!). The showers are filthy and you'll find you'd rather wash in a bucket in your tent. the tents are all on top of each other so they can cram in as many as possible on a steep hill. Don't trust the photos you see, they really don't represent this hole at all. There are abandonned and rusty motorhomes everywhere! Considering the state of this place you'd think it'd cheaper but it's not even that!!!! Avoid this place at all cost! You have been warned!
