    Do not be deceived by the attractive 5 years free parts guarantee Baumatic offer.
    Parts are free, provided you pay the £88 call-out charge for an engineer to install it. So replacement of a faulty element - 7 screws and 15 minutes time investment - in effect costs £88.
    Had we known this before purchase, we would not have bought a Baumatic!
    Although the Baumatic oven works fine we have had 2 breakdowns in the first 30 months. The first within the 12 month warranty, the second after a couple of years. Our previous Zanussi failed once in 18 Years.
