    Good Points: We stayed at Albufiera Jardim 1, it was self catering but the food at the restaurants were excellent, the apartments are near all amenities, shops and beach. The bus service from the reception was good. The people are so friendly and helpful. I will be going back again next year.


    Bad Points: It is quite a climb back to the apartments from the town. However because of this there is a great view from the balcony over looking the old town and beach.


    General comments: We stayed at Albufiera Jardim 1, it was self catering but the food at the restaurants were excellent, the apartments are near all amenities, shops and beach.

    I enjoyed the holiday and recommend the jeep safari trip for the adventurous and try the fire water. Take your swimming wear on this trip. The strip is a good place to go for a lively night out with lots of clubs to choose from on one road.
    I like these apartments - they are close to everything you need but are also a quiet place to stay if you get the right apartments.

    Having stayed at Jardim 1 in the old town of Albuferia it has put me and my husband off staying in Portugal again. Travel republic gave us a great service the flights were great etc but they and anyone thinking of staying in this hotel should know it was filthy dirty. I think the cleaners just sat in their rooms and watched tv. They changed the bedding on the 6th day out of 7 and it was only when we went to bed we realised they had only changed the pillow slips and not the sheets, diabolical. We ...
