    Good Points: Travelodge Newark Airport Route 22 West Union New Jersey. Shuttle daily pickups up to 11p.m from bus station, staff great at giving directions


    Bad Points: Poor customer service, reservation was not in order. At times have to ring bell several times before you can see someone emerging from a back office. Upon check-in a man was seen lying in the sofa in the lobby. Thought it was a bum or homeless man, later discovered he was a staff. I saw him checking in guest shortly after. Very unprofessional behaviour. Room was dirty, sheet had stains. Garbage was found in night table drawer, also around bedside. Bathroom had mould around bath tub, also face basin on vanity counter. Toilet had rust inside. Shower curtain hooks had mould, they were black mouldy spots on shower curtain hooks, toilet paper-one ply was no good. Breakfast was no good. No continental breakfast as was told prior to arrival. Very dirty garbage bin by internet station. Housekeeping was not done the day after checkin. Bathtub need vinyl shower curtain to determine visual cleanliness, unlike dark ugly fabric curtain. Too much bad things to say. I did fill comment card, plus wrote on letter paper the nastiness of this hotel to the management. Also no designated smoking area.


    General comments: Would never ever stay at this hotel again. Would prefer to sleep in my car. Dislike everything about this hotel. Only great location for the purpose of my visit.
