    I arrived at the airport and my booking had been cancelled, Fastcarhire said they had sent an e-mail which I never received. I had received the booking confirmation, and an e-mail from National Citer the day before so I thought eveything was o.k. The company had no cars left so I had to use another agent. I ended up paying 320 Euros for a SMART car for a week.

    Had the same problem with them back in July when they cancelled my booking at the last minute because they said a car wasn;t available, although that time I received an e-mail the day before.

    They do not answer the phones and call you back

    There admin is absolute garbage, they promise to provide a cheap service but their website is so complicated and confusing. You ahve to log in with a pin number they give you, and then check out the messages they send you, this is ok if you receive the e-mail. No other Company operates like this

    I would not recommend them, far too complex

    I hired a car through FASTCahire. Received a Voucher, confirmation money were taken from the credit card.

    When we arrived to hire company they gave us a car, but the price was 101 EUR more. We shown the price on the voucher and were told that they do care about the voucher and we have 30 mins or going to be without the car. OK, we paid.

    After vacation I send e-mail to FASTCahire complaining about the incident. I received a standard e-mail saying that they will try to resolve an issue within 3 ...

    I am writing to let you all know how very disappointed I am with the service I received from both FastCarHire and Dollar Thrifty. After making the booking I called Dollar to confirm and was told no booking was showing in there system! I then contacted FastCarHire customer care and was sent a email telling me the booking had been confirmed. After being reassured by FastCarHire email we continued with our travel plans. We arrived at Weese Airport and had been told someone from Dollar would meet us ...

    just seen some of the suff on here, and just thought i would copy here want i sent to them, after my recent trip to milano...and meant it....obviously they not firing on all cylinders for all yet.....

    I've read a couple of the negative reviews here and thought that I'd offer my experience. I wanted to hire a car in Bangkok and, after making an enquiry I got a FREE upgrade to a larger car without even asking.

    Not sure why someone complained about them not having a phone number as there is one clearly mentioned when logged into your account (although I didn't need to use it).

    All in all I was very happy with the rental experience with FASTCarhire but I'm sure that they can't please everybody! ...

    AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!! THIS COMPANY IS RUN BY A BUILDER and Partner Mick Wright & Michael Teale, Teale Builders 9 Marley Croft Moor Lane, Staines, TW18 4YW

    THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NO PHONE AND NO EMAIL SUPPORT, Most likely run from there homes. After booking i checked with the car company and they had no recored of any booking!! yet they have taken my money! Tried to email but thats a joke! We need to get people like this exposed and shut down.

    FastCarhire is a complete joke. I have never written a review before butI urge you not to consider using them. My booking was confirmed at a rate of £90.00 only to be changes to £114, then £115 after I had paid my deposit and my car hire excess. I have been waiting since 23rd september to get any further help out of customer services who are non contactable by phone and only rarely return your type written messages via their website.

    I stumbled across FASTCarhire whilst trying to find the best value quote, and chose them because of their good reviews and their helpful telephone staff who answered my queries quickly and knowledgeably. I was quoted a good price for 8 days hire of an economy car, collecting and dropping off at Ancona Airport.

    I don't understand the comments of the some people.
    For several years I rent a car at 'FASTCARHIRE' and never had troubles
    or remarks.
    Every time I've got a confirmation with the rigt place to get the car
    at the price given in advance.
    Never had problems. I find the firm very honest and correct.
    I recommended firm to several people who were very satisfied about price and services.
    I AM VERY SATISFIED ABOUT 'fastcarhire' !!

    FASTCarhire is the worst Car Hire Company I ever dealt with.
    Let me without a vehicle I had booked for 4 months previous
    No customer care.
    Did not call me to get my side of story.
    Disgrace..Never again do business there.

    used FASTCarhire many a time, in thailand and uk, and always had good cars, service etc. can only say positive things about them. like most things in life...suppose, some people swear by them...some people swear at them. review giving me "hints" to say more...so liked the Hondajazz, excellent cheap car. have used thai rent a car and Budget in thailand. budget have the higher spec cars, but thai rent cars are new, or newish.

    I booked an SUV NISSAN for Rally Finland to be Supplied by Budget, paid my deposit, arrived in Tampere Airport 27th July 2009..NO VEHICLE, BUDGET HAD GONE INTO LIQUIDATION...Fastcarhire never made any other arrangements for me. Deposit gone..no vehicle and all other car rental companies at the Airport completely booked out..I paid for taxi out of airport, train fare to another Finland city to book a car which cost me double the normal hire fee..Fastcarhire did nothing to put this right. no custo ...

    everyone please be aware fastcarhire, i paid through their pay pal system , i have phoned paypal fraud department they have confirmed that the reciept issued was void, and they do not have this company listed on their books.

    I would recommend FASTCarhire. Never hired or driven a vehicle abroad before and was quite nervous when I ' Googled 'car hire reviews, and read some of the reviews on this website, it seems that the majority of people only write a review if something goes wrong! Ordered the car online. The desk was easy to find at Palma airport Mallorca. Very polite and friendly staff. Ordered a Peugeot Partner on line but was upgraded locally.

    Car was taken through FastCarHire at Gare de Nord and returned CDG airport. All went very smoothly, although map of France/Paris was missing.

    Booked online with FASTCarhire and collected a Toyota Vigo pick-up from Budget at Koh Samui airport to be dropped off at Phitsonalok airport 10 days later, I kept changing the return location and extending the rental period at the same rate. I then asked Budget if I could extend for a month and get a lower rate, they told me to get in touch with FCH in Thailand and I was told "yes fine" with another 15% daily rate reduction and eventually returned the vehicle to Bangkok airport.

    I have ordered a rental car with FASTCarhire for my next trip to Vienna.I immediately paid the deposit.FASTCahire SLA states that will send you a voucher within 3 days.When FASTCarhire failed to supply the voucher within this time frame I contacted them via Email.FASTCahire did not respond to this Email and also to another 4 messages I have sent them by Email/FASTCarhire website.     No telephone number for customer care. (And not listed on 118118.)
    FASTCarhire don't respond to emails or to messages sent via their secure site. They don't refund your 'refundable deposit' when you get fed up and cancel a booking due to the above lack of communication. I am now reporting them to Google Checkout Fraud Service and the Police.

    Hired two cars from fastcarhire.co.uk and was billed £200 too much on the first one. Emailed company and private messaged them with no result. Sent a fax and also tried to call (their 'emergency number' is constantly engaged) all to no avail.Cancelled both bookings and will seek a refund through my credit card company as STILL no one has gotten back to me and they are currently holding £800 of my money!Please avoid this company and go with ANY other car hire company!! ...

    had to cancel car with fastcarhire as ryanair cancelled flights had no problem getting deposit back while using google checkout giving it a 3 star for average as i got money back straight away. the big problem is ryanair
