At 24.99 you really can't go wrong. The amount of time you can waste looking for a way around it certainly makes it worth it to take advantage of this fast service. Once you have the codes in your hand it is a very well explained 20 second process to unlock the phone. Customer service is fast an efficient as well! great company to deal with. Thank You very much!

Do not use this service. I regret not reading the reviews in this Review Centre beforehand.It is a lesson for me.
Payment was taken immediately from PayPal upon receipt of my order just after 5pm on Friday.The website states that it will send out the BlackBerry unlock code in 2-3 minutes. Yet they send an email to say it is on hold and to call on a premium line which is only open till 2pm weekdays. They say to contact this email which does not exist:

Paid instantly for a code to be emailed to me, which it indeed was, but didn't work. When I emailed customer services I got no reply. Their helpline states OPEN 9AM TO 2AM GMT yet when I called them at 9pm I got the busy tone the first few trys and then the answering machine telling me the lines are now closed and repeated the 9am to 2am message! Incredible.
The fact that the code does not work means I have now few tries left before my phone is useless. Even with a refund this cannot be...

I am very grateful to this online company for providing me with the unlock method and code for my Blackberry. The phone operator that I bought the phone from told me that they had no record of the phone (IMEI code) and it must belong to another provider! However, a short e-mail conversation with their very helpful customer services clarified which one(s) I needed to use and the phone was unlocked in seconds. I have suggested that they need to improve their initial instructions to have the best product. (read more)

On my experience, The Phone Unlockers unlocked my Blackberry 8120. The first try was not succesful and I contacted them, then they gave me another option, more advanced that is and it worked like magic. The service is great, they've given me the unlock code! The only problem is that I oredered for my code Friday, then it was not succesful and I wait 'till Monday for the correct code, anyways, the phone unlockers unlocks the phone! Think carefully before paying any money to this company. I phoned to ask about unlocking a Blackberry Curve from a UK network. The lady (at an indian call centre) assured me that this was no problem and the code would be sent through instantly. I paid through paypal and received an instant e-mail telling me that my order was on hold and that I should phone them. When their codes (yes, codes) did not work, they would not issue a refund until you provided video evidence, photos, and other things to ensure their codes actually did not work.
I provided all those things and they still did not issue a refund. Their policy states they can request you try another SIM in the device as well as sending them the phone itself. Wow, what a security risk and a crockery.
I would not recommend this service to anyone who wishes to unlock a phone. You are better...

This company is very reliable and trustworthy. I purchased my unlock code and it worked and that's all that matters. No scams, they use PayPal as a paying method. I mean what more could you ask ? The code took a few days to arrive due to some server problems but as long as the end result is perfect then it's worth the wait. Last but not least they offer a full refund in case your code doesn't work. I will be recommending it to anyone I know who might want to unlock their phone. (read more)

Very helpful customer service indeed! They are immediately there when needed and go above and beyond to resolve any issues. I don't know how the price compares to other operators but at the end of the day it's done the job and that's what I paid for. BE VERY CAREFUL...I mistakenly ordered a code for the wrong model of
BlackBerry and despite all the '100% guarantee' claims made on the
web site, they would not exchange the code or refund my money. That
after the price I paid was 'upgraded' from the £19.99 advertised on
the web site to £29.35 !! READ the TERMS and CONDITIONS carefully.
If you are prepared to send your phone to them to prove the code

These guys were such a great help. I changed phone companies, not realizing the phone was locked. I was going out of town the next day for a week, and was in a a bit of a panic. At first the codes I received did not work. I was disappointed that there is no support on a weekend so that is a major flaw in the company. However, I was upgraded to a better service at no extra cost where on of the codes did, eventually work.
Customer Support were great and helpful without ever needing to ring them or being stuck on hold. Their live chat feature is great and means you don't have to wait on an email reply.

Originally The Phone Unlockers said they could do it in 3 minutes. Then they said their average for my phone was 6 hours. Then when i tracked it, it said it would be 8 hours. 36 hours later it still says 8 hours and customer service are not responding to my emails.
If this goes on for another 24 hours I am reporting them to trading standards.

Having already tried Unlock City, who couldn't get the code & still owe me a refund, I was wary to pay the phone unlockers the £34.60 to unlock my Nokia 5800, but the codes arrived in 15 hours, were clearly explained & worked straight away without a hitch.
It might have been cheaper to go to the market, but I know a lot of the newer, fancier phones are v difficult to unlock, so it was nice to do it without having to leave the house :-)

I continually emailed customer support for the second code, and they kept telling to "be patient" and wait for them to figure out the second code. After reading these reviews and already being ripped off by 3 other companies claiming to provide unlock codes, i was a bit unsure whether to place an order with the phone unlockers. Anyway i used the live chat and i was guaranteed my code would be with me within 6 hrs so i took the plunge and placed the order costing me 18 quid. After reading the comments here I was very tempted to not use The Phone Unlockers to unlock my blackberry 8820. I decided in the end to bite the bullet and have a go and was surprised to see that it worked fine for me. It took more like 10 mins rather than the 3 it had stated, but thats just being picky - most sites state a very long turn around time. Once through my code worked fine.
the instructions were not the best I had found, but luckily have unlocked these Blackberry 8820's before...

i just ordered and paid by credit card which processed immediately and i also got the message confirming my order and saying it was on hold also and to call and also the number does not exist either of them and no reply from the instant chat. i didnt see the reviews prior to ordering or i wouldnt go there either.
