Good Points: NONE - so far
General comments: They have an automated service which I think has no feel of customer service and tracking your order is not made obvious how to do it. Their workflow is email address based, ie. you have to email only when your order has been outstanding for a certain length of time.
I have waited since 29th June 2008 and am still waiting for my motorola V3 to be unlocked but I think the worst thing is on their website it says:
1: the last 5 phones to be unlocked included two Motorola V3's AND also it says Motorola Delays, orders submitted between the 12 June and the 3rd July ( £3.99) are delayed due to an upgrade of the unlocking system. Orders after this date are now the higher price of £9.99 and are being processed in three working days. Which I take to mean that they are processing the more expensive orders but not the older less expensive ones - Mine!!

Ordered the unlock code for Motorola Razr V8 on 29/06/2008 and still waiting as of 22/07/2008. Did email them @customersupport several times and got replies a few days later. Each of those emails indicated a delay (even though the initial automated e-mail said average of 1 day waiting period). Not happy at all, therefore I don't recommend www.thephoneunlockers.com.

It looks like I was one of the lucky ones at The Phone Unlockers.
I ordered an unlock code for my v3i, that was before I'd read any reviews (duh). I got the usual email saying there was a backlog of orders on my phone so there'd be a delay. I thought, here we go, £3.99 down the drain.
Next day, I got my unlock code, it worked fine.
Maybe those who get their code can't be bothered to write in.. what can I say it was fine for me.

The email they send after minutes intimated a wait of 1 hour for my phone. 9 Days later still waiting. I feel a call to Trading standards now in order.
The terms say 28 days for a refund - not sure if that will happen on strength of the above.

I paid 23 pounds to unlock my new nokia n95 8gb and didn't get nothing besides automatically generated e-mail conferming my order.... I tried to contact them and it seems that their e-mail adresses don't work any more because everything come back as undelivered mail. no telephone numbers or address, sad I haven't read all this comments before I paid them :(

I ordered a code for my blackberry - but like everyone else I just had messages saying their was a delay -it`s been 4 weeks now! please dont use The Phone Unlockers.

Paid through Paypal. Got email straight away saying there was a back-order for my phone. 6 days later, still no news. Have emailed them twice but no reply yet. I can't find an address or phone number for them.

They took my money and I have not yet received my unlocking code. Waited 2 months and still no code. Contacted them and not yet it seems had a reply. Would definitely not recommend the Phone unlockers.com

I wanted to unlock my motorola v3x phone. I saw them advertised on google for £3.99. I thought good price so why not. There website looks pretty good and they seem like a real unlocking company. Anyway I placed my order and paid via google checkout and waited. And waited. And waited for my code. 4 days passed and no code so I emailed them and got no reply yet as far as I am aware. Now it has been two weeks and still no code and no answer to my emails. Do not recommend The Phone Unlockers ...
