When booked was given impression that Hiper Rental company was airport based, however upon down-loading voucher it became apparent that it wasn't. Waited at airport with a ticket, the hiper rep had given us at arrivals, in order to get to off site compound via mini bus. 8 seater minibus and approx 50 people waiting before us. Having waited for about 20 mins and only 8 people out of queue taken to compound decided to get Taxi. Arrived at compound to be given keys to very shoddy Fiat Punto (smaller than car promised)Also had to pay for full tank of fuel before using and advised to return empty, (would have had to travel about 600 miles to empty it very difficult on a one week holiday with 2 young kids in a shed of a car, will never use again, and would not recommend

3 hours to get a car with Hiper Car Hire: first 1 hour at the airport waiting for a bus to drive us to the office. 1 hours at the office waiting in line for a car you didn't order, and which you must return empty (after paying for a full tank additional to the hire)!

we got to hiper car hire at half ten and by 11 we was on the roads nice car skoda octavia est 1.9 tdi bu the on ehtink with the car it did not work right in 1 and 2 reg number just so you no is 5345 fnd

I saw other peoples reviews, but assumed they were just unlucky, arrived at the airport and started waiting, didnt understand why Hiper Car Hire gave us a raffle ticket at the airport - thats your position in the queue! having waited in the airport the bus took us (only us) to the offsite location. When we got there we joined the real queue, after 40 minutes we were served, "upgraded" to a very old jeep, but it served its purpose. verry bad organasation at hiper car hire, they transport you from the airport with a bus to an industrie area and there is the reception you get a number at the airport and than is it waiting and waiting the same is wen you drop your car after the renting period choose

We rented from hiper car rental in Menorca and what a shoddy service! Total disorganisation, indifference and a bunch of rip off merchants. Don't bother!

Hiper Car Hire Majorca is an awful company, rude staff.

Contract asked us to return the car with a full tank of fuel to get our fuel deposit back. Deposit refused by Hiper. Apparantly, they gave us the "old contract". Ended up paying twice for fuel!!!

Avoid Hiper Car Hire Majorca. As others in this page, I prebooked and prepaid my rental in advance and had to wait more than an hour in their offices waiting for my car with my wife and 10-month daughter. No A/C or water provided. When complained all I got was a shrug from the clerk, who told me that they were cleaning the cars. I then asked for another member of staff who just told me "bad luck". We hired from Hiper Car Hire Majorca in Menorca. The excess insurance which other companies try to get you to take can almost double the cost of hire...this is included with Hiper. The cost of tyres underside damage and glass is always an extra so Hiper no different.

New cars, Fast Service, Nice Staff, quick and cheap booking through, http://www.balearicrentacar.com. Great experience. Only bad point To be sure, you have to buy additional insurance for windows and tires (about 12 euros).

Having prebooked and pre-paid with Holiday Autos we queued for one hour airport side to present driving license etc and another hour at the garage once contract had been completed. Total queuing time over two hours. Compulsory charge for tank of petrol - no refund. Appalling service

Though this company is cheap in my opinion you get almost no insurance cover. You have to pay for broken windows, punctures, new tyres, towing in case of breakdown, damage to the bottom of the car (very likely in Majorca), lost keys, CD/radio damage, theft or loss of any car part, (All other rental companies cover these with their fully comprehensive policy)

I would highly recommend Hiper!!

The car was the one thing myself and my partner were a bit worried about in relation to our holiday as we were travelling with two friends and their 5 month old daughter and after booking with Hiper via Holiday Autos, I'd read some awful reviews so was dreading picking the car up in case it was too small or was in a bad state, which some people had said their cars had been.
