Good Points: Very professional at recording the confirmation call that covered their tracks and playing it back to me. Obviously something they are used to.

Bad Points: Abrupt call manner

General comments: Unclear regarding times. A Brassett Home Appliances Repairstold me it would be a morning call between 7:30 and 9:30 so I booked the dentist for 10:15.
After speaking to my tenant I phoned back to confirm the appointment but stupidly I didn't reconfirm that it was a morning call. Doh!

Anyway, The engineer called me en route and I was in the dentists chair (down the road from my flat). There was no flexibility. They wouldn't juggle any appointments or pick up the keys even though the dentist was down the road.

The business from my london rental properties will not be going their way. I hope they enjoy spending my £74 cause it's the last they'll get from me. I was going to buy a £400 machine from them if the existing one wasn't repairable. I almost hope it isn't so I can buy one from someone else. OK - rant over :-)

I felt that I had to write to you in praise of the service engineers A Brassett.
They repaired my daughter's washing machine a couple of months ago and also repaired her cooker Wednesday 02/07/08,
Both times they arrived at the agreed time,were thorough,polite,very tidy and very professional,they are a credit to this company and it is a great pity that other service centres do not take a leaf out of their book.
I have no hesitation,In recommending them to friends and family.

I am an elderly lady who relies upon my washing machine very much, when it broke down I did not know what to do, then I was given a telephone number which my daughter obtained for me on the internet for A Brassett's I rang them and was told some one could come out the very same day, I was over joyed, an hour later and the engineer was here, he was very quick and efficient, he knew what was wrong with it straight away, he went away to order the spare, I had a telephone call from a lovely young la ...

We have had a good response from them when they booked a call to repair our Hotpoint washing machine, the engineer turned up as promised and he found the brushes had worn out and he had a set in his van the job was done to our satisfactory. I paid £65, I would recommend this company to my friends.

My fridge freezer broke and I found A Brassett (fridge repair people) Flashy looking website on the internet, www.abrassett.co.uk

After booking an appointment they sent an engineer to diagnose the problem. It took him about 2 minutes to tell me that it's a simple part (fan motor) and that he could phone his colleague in the office and she would sort it from there with regards to ordering the part. They charged my card 52.87 for call out and the fitting, but this never actually took place!
