“Damaged our car seat - no apology, no compensation. Awful.”

We booked batransfer for a journey to Heathrow and back. We were travelling with our 3 month old baby so booked a car seat (and called to check that this would be provided). However, the driver turned up with a booster seat and so we were forced to use our own car seat. It was returned to us with an adaptor clip missing and with black marks on the fabric. The customer service regarding this issue has been terrible - no compensation for the damage or even an apology. Needless to say we won't... (read more)

Don't touch batransfer.com with a bargepole. Our experience having booked and paid in advance for a pickup from Healthrow was shocking. The driver called on my mobile to say he was waiting even before the aeroplane door was open at the gate. By the time we were in the baggage hall, the driver was demading another £30 in cash for waiting time. THe company representative was very rude when called, and sanctioned the extra £30. I am sorry you haven't been able to trace my wriiten complaint to your company, which resulted in noting that could remotely be described as "customer orientated".
I imagine that you probably have thousands of complaints, making it very hard to match the details in my review with your records.
However, I would prefer not to be shouted and ranted at again, if you don't mind, so probably won't bother contacting you.

Have you tried looking in the dustbin? This is where I felt my complaint was filed. My correspondence with your company doesn't have the booking reference - although it does show you acknowledge that the taxi turned up at least 2 hours early on 23rd August 2012 (nearly 6 months ago to the day!), but still rejected my complaint.

Hi Just writing comments staying anonymous would not solve any real problems. Each and every booking we give booking number or we can trace by your name or mobile number. we do not operate with pen and paper, we have all the booking logged in the computer system. If you are fail to give these we will report is is spam and take necessary action. We give you another two days from today.( 11 Apr 2013 )

I used British Airport Transfers twice in July, once from Gatwick into central London & then from Central London to Heathrow. On both occasions the drivers were on time (15 minutes early), helped with luggage were excellent drivers & new the shortcuts to speed up the journey and avoid traffic jams. I was browsing for a good transfer services for a cheap price. I found this particular website. Since they accept cash payments too, I just tried once for a transfer from Paddington to Heathrow. When I was packing the things I got the message from the driver driver that he was on the way, and after sometime he told he was waiting for me out side the house, I was shocked to see him as he was there before 10 minutes, early in the morning at 2, the car was really clean with a good fragrance.... I used batransfer last week, for a pick up at 3.30 to go to Heathrow, and that was the second time I used them. They were really good, but the thing that pressurised me is the early pick up. The drivers are at least 15 minutes early, they don't tell that they have been waiting long. But it pressurises me. I prefer to have the cab on time, when I am too ready. (read more)

I found this service is really the great value for money. Their calling staff and the drivers are very kind and polite. I booked a cab for my wife and the driver helped in loading and unloading the luggage which is not an easy task, as they were quite heavy and my wife was sick so she could not give a hand at all. This might be a strange comment, but the only MINOR thing I have to say is that every-time I get into the row of seats behind the driver (this has been almost every driver I've had the past few years) because the very back seat has been pushed down, I can't recline my chair at all (and they're all sitting straight up, which isn't very comfortable).
