just awful - super hard to find at the airport, they didn't hold a sign and we could barely understand the person on the phone. They were just inside the coffee shop. Then we prearranged a car seat for my toddler and they didn't have one. Picking up to go to return was even worse. We waited in our apartment and they never called. We finally called them and they said they can and just left so we jumped in a can and raced to the airport. No refund. AVOID AVOID AVOID

“No Show!!”

Booked World airport Transfer for a pick up at the Port of Barcelona. Booked our pick up time for 8am, we were off the ship and waiting at 7:30 am. My husband walked around several times to see if someone had our name for a pick up but no one did. Finally at 8:15 we had no choice but to get in a taxi to catch a flight to Canada. While half way to the airport the driver called us to ask where we were and we explained that we booked a pick up for 8 am not 8:20! Emailed World transfer and they said the driver told them he was there, which was a lie.After many emails back and forth they have still not refunded my pre paid fare. Do NOT use them.

“Barcelona”

This outfit left us without a ride in Barcelona. Their ride request asked for flight arrival time, but they didn't allow any time for clearing immigration, etc and in our case a lost bag. I went out and looked for the driver to let them know we were delayed, but didn't see them. I then emailed them that we were delayed due to the lost bag. Their response was that their driver had left because we had taken longer to show up that the 1 hour after arrival (per their weasel words). If I'd seen their poor ratings I would never have booked them. I told them I wanted a refund, but would use them for the return, but they would make no allowance. They did refund the return trip costs.

“Nobody showed up”

Booked a transfer from Guatemala City Airport to Antigua which was confirmed and money taken out of account on day of flight. Upon arrival at the airport there was no driver waiting for me. I waited for 30 minutes after which time I booked a transfer with a separate company that ended up being half the price. I was unable to call the numbers provided as my phone does not work internationally. When I emailed them to ask for a refund I was denied as they said I had taken a separate service, despite that fact their driver never showed up. Terrible company, will take your money then act like it's your fault.

“Rip Off”

Paid £72 for a return transfer from Barcelona airport. Om arrival there was no car waiting to collect, the phone numbers to contact were invalid and there was no response to an email until back in the UK whereby they advised as our flight was 30 minutes delayed I should have contacted them to advise. Not sure how that was possible when in mid air and the numbers were invalid. refused a refund. Very poor customer service and a taxi was only €20 each way so significantly overpriced service. Rip off merchants. Would never use again and definitely will not recommend to anybody I know

“3 weeks since booking and no voucher”

Has Anyone tried to book and not received a voucher ever? its been 3 weeks since I have booked, I send reminder messages all the time as there is no telephone number where to contact them. Can someone help me out. They took the money straight away but a lot to be desired for the service and work. I need someone to urgently contact me from World Transfers

“Stranded in wrong location at 1am - solo female”

Was dumped off in a random alley at 1am at an incorrect address (after being assured I would be taken directly to accommodation). 24 hour 'help' desk was extremely rude and insisted I was at the 'right' address even though i had it on my phone where I was vs where I was supposed to be (the address I had given them). Refused to help, were extremely rude. Had to try and find taxi as a solo female in back alleys of Barcelona in the dark. Emailed to notify them of situation. NO response. Don't use this company!

“Barcelona- take a taxi instead!”

Horrible service! They didn't check flight status. Left us stranded at airport for over an hour. My wife even emailed them from back home to confirm my flight delay. We just received a response...10 days later! Save yourself the hassle and take a taxi.

“Never Showed Up”

They charged my card and never showed up. We almost missed our flight. The doors were closing as we ran down the Jetway. Its been thee weeks and they are claiming they have wait for the local Cab Co. to respond. RUN FAR AWAY. AS OF NOW MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN FRAUDULENT

“World Airport Transfers are SHOCKING!!!”

I had a similar experience with World Airport Transfers. I booked them as we needed a baby seat for our six-month old son. We arrived on 10th August at the scheduled time. There was no-one at the airport to meet us. I called the Service Provider (SP) to be told that the driver was stuck in traffic. He said he would be 20mins. The driver arrived 30mins later. He told us that his car broke down. Additionally, he didn't have a car seat even though we booked and paid for one. If we knew that the SP could not provide a car seat we would have brought our own. We had to travel to the hotel with our 6 month old son on my wife's lap. This is far from ideal but thankfully there was no accident. On Sunday 14th August I called the SP in the morning to confirm our pick up at 12 noon. The guy I talked to told me that they would pick us up at 12:30pm. I told him that we had asked for 12 noon to which he replied that their policy was 3 hours before the flight time. When I questioned him again he told me to "stop pissing him off" and we could basically take it or leave it. He said he had no confirmation from World Airport Transfer as to the pick up time or child seat. As I felt I had no choice I accepted but called their office to complain. I talked to someone who said she would call the SP to get the situation resolved. However, when she called back she had been unsuccessful in changing the time but that they did have a car seat for a baby. Unexpectedly we received a call from the driver who said he could pick us up at 11:45am. I was happy with this so accepted. He also confirmed that he had a car seat for a baby. He arrived on time and we loaded our luggage. However, the car seat he had was for a 3 year old and above. I explained this to him but he tried to convince me that it was OK for a baby. I am sure that you are aware that this is not the case and our baby son would have been put at grave risk if we had tried to use this. I refused to use the car seat. He then told me that he could not take us as our son had to be in an appropriate car seat otherwise he would get fined and get 6 points. Obviously he now realised that his car seat was not appropriate. However, he intimated that if we made it worth his while he would take the risk. At that point we unloaded the car. We asked our hotel to arrange a taxi for us which cost us over EUR40. I paid in advance for return transfers and the provision of a car seat for a 6 month old baby. The first driver was 30mins late with no car seat. The SP was rude and obnoxious and the second driver tried to make us use an unsuitable car seat. When we refused he intimated that he wanted an additional payment (basically a bribe) in order to take us on the journey that we had already paid for! I wish I had checked the forum before I had booked. I use transfer companies for work and never have an issue. It is 5 months on now and I still haven't got a resolution. My advice if to avoid them at all costs

“Never again!”

Could not tell the company the time we actually wanted to be picked up. Only allowed to state the arrival of our flight which was 855 Saturday morning in Barcelona. The flight arrived 20 minutes early. It took 1 1/2 hours to get through customs and 20 minutes to pick up our luggage. I did not have service on my cell phone. My friend had cell service. Tried calling the phone number on my voucher without success. We were in a foreign country and not aware that we were not supposed to to use the first 2 numbers of the phone number given to us. Looked for 50 minutes for our pick-up driver. Finally found a taxi to take us to the hotel and the price was a lot cheaper. The concierge at the hotel informed us not to use the first 2 numbers of the phone number given to us. The gentleman I spoke to at World Airport Transfer was very rude and would not let me get a word in edgewise. He stated a driver was there from 9-10 am and that I should have called the number. Tried to explain that we were going through customs. I asked him why their company didn't allow for the time us to go through customs and pick up our luggage. (I was not permitted to give the company a reasonable pick-up time.) He just kept yelling that the driver gave us a free half hour. He actually stated my friend should have tried to find the driver while we going through customs. Doesn't make sense. I would not have gotten so mad and irritated if the gentleman I talked to wasn't so rude and unreasonable. I called my credit card to dispute the charges but the representative stated I don't have a case because the driver was there at the time of flight arrival. What a rip-off!. I feel the company is tricking naive travelers.

“Stay Away - Take Your Business Somewhere Else”

Had there been a negative rating, World Air Transport would deserve it. In short, take your business somewhere else even if you have to pay a bit extra. My first and lat experience with World Air Transport was in Barcelona for a private airport pickup. Here are the highlights: - It takes them more than 48 hours to confirm the trip - You need to prepay, at that point you lose most leverage. - Their local agent (drivers) lie flat out, WAT will take their word over the customer, even when supported by facts -You will never get a refund for your money In my case, our flight landed 5 minutes early; we cleared customs and were out looking for the driver in the arrival area within the (one hour window from arrival) but the driver was nowhere to be found. When I called the 34 hour number, I was told that the driver waited for an hour an then left as it took us too long to come out, which is a complete lie. There were at least 50 prearranged rides waiting for passengers from out flight and another emirates flight that arrived at the same time. You can imagine what will happen if your flight is ever remotely late for any reason. Since the ride is prepaid, the driver has no incentive to deliver the service, knowing that they are supported by WAT. After a lengthy 3 week email communication it didn't go anywhere and I will contest the charge on my credit card - the driver provided them with inaccurate arrival time for the flight, and how long they waited and when I called. the best they can offer is a 15% discount on the next reservation I make. Only a complete idiot would use this service again after such an experience. Stay Away and Take Your Business Somewhere Else

“Never again”

We used this company to take us from Barcelona city to airport. Firstly they picked us up two blocks from our hotel. They were 15 mins late and the worst thing is the driver dropped us off at the arrival gate of the airport to pick up the next the load of customers ! We had to walk 1km which is the other end of the airport. Not happy and will not use them again. Avoid if you can.

At least they showed up in your case. In my case they never showed up for the pick up from Barcelona Airport, they lied about the amount of time the driver waited and never issued the refund.

Really bad experience, stay away from this service and take your business somewhere else. This service deserves a negative rating if it was possible.

“WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE EVER”

World Airport Transfer/Erosbus is your Shuttle OF CHOICE if you seek real adventure AND WANT TO RISK BEING ROBBED OR MURDERED ON YOUR FIRST DAY IN BARCELONA! I arrived at 20.30 hrs at Barcelona Terminal 1. Despite my Contract Stipulation, No one was there to meet me. Thanks to the help of airport porters, I was able to board a bus and find World Airport Transfer's depot at Terminal 2, ten miles away. But wait. It gets worse, Much worse. Finally, over 2 hours after my arrival at the airport, World Airport's driver leaves me off stranded (now for a second time) alone on the dark, dangerous and uninhabited Passeig De Circumvallació and directing me to walk South-East along the railroad tracks (with all my luggage and cash), AWAY from my Hotel. Two hours later, just before midnight and again relying on strangers I finally arrived at my Hotel Pension Francia, on the Carrer de Rera Palau. MY WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IN 50 YEARS!

“Shocking service Paris Orly airport transfer.”

We arrived at Paris Orly airport from Lisbon on Friday 12.06.15. Our flight arrived on time and we collected our one suitcase within twenty minuets of arrival. Since it was our first trip together to Paris we decided to pre book a private transfer from Orly airport to our hotel in the 8 district of Paris. As per the World airport transfer voucher we were advised that the driver would be waiting for us after our exit from the arrival hall. When we arrived there was no one from World airport transfers to revive us even though we saw several other transfer companies. We waited 20 minutes when we decided to look around to see if our driver was waiting at another point. After walking around the arrival hall I went to the information desk who were very helpful. The young lady managed to make contact with World airport transfer centre after several attempts. She was advised to inform me that the driver was late and we were to wait at another point B for him to receive us in ten minuets! Eventually after a further twenty minuets u saw the driver coming through the door. I approached him and introduced myself and then asked him why we had to wait one hour for him to arrive. He priced to tell me in a loud manner that he was only advised about our arrival ten minuets before! Eventually we made our way to his car. He tried to make small talk and asked us several questions which I politely answered. Whilst we were being Driven to our hotel he was muttering to himself and seemed to have difficulty locating the hotel! His driving manner was some what erratic to say the least! My wife and I were so releaved to get to the hotel after two hours from exiting the arrival hall at Orly airport. I always tip the driver when I use a Taxi service however on this occasion I was so shocked with the service from World airport Transfers I was compiled to say a quick thank you and enter our hotel. In summery this is the first time I have used this service . I really am shocked with the way City Duscovery Handel there customers....I only hope the tours we booked with them today and tommorow will not be the same as we received from the Orly airport transfer experience. I feel that the above needs to be brought to your attention as its a bad reflection on your future business.

Paid for round trip Nassua airport to British Colonial. No one visable upon exiting airport. Found a Majestic tour bus and waited about 15 minuets for someone to find our reservation, an assign us to a bus. Bus was exceptionally cold, asked driver to turn air conditioner down and was ignored. Return never happened since majestic tour never showed up and we needed to rush back to the airport using a taxi. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

“Worst Service Ever!”

We made arrangements with this company through a link on one of the airports website. Thinking it was a simple way to make our transportation arrangement, but I was wrong! We at least were picked up in Barcelona, but because we didn't ask for carseats reserved (even though the reservation listed the ages of our children), the driver was rude and nearly would not take us. This reservation was pre-paid for both transportation from the airport and then back to the airport once we returned from our cruise. He took us and dropped us off at our hotel and it ended up being ok. Once I got connected to the internet, I contacted the company to be sure we had carseats for the return trip to the airport. I was even charged extra for those - ok, fine. But then when we needed to be picked up from the port (which was listed on our reservation), no one showed up. We called the numbers listed for the company that was to pick us up and never got an answer - not even a voicemail to leave a message for someone. We called multiple times and waited for over 2 hours for someone to show. we eventually had to pay AGAIN for a taxi to take us to the airport. When we got back home, I contacted the company and they said there was nothing they could do. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DO NOT USE!

I second that, it seems they have consistent bad service from Barcelona. That is where my experience was. They didn't even show up; and as you mentioned, since it is prepaid, there is not much you can do at that point.

I was glad that I paid for only one leg of the trip from the airport to the city to see how the experience works out.

Never again I will ever ever use this service; I would give me -5 stars if that was possible.

“Do Not Use”

They never obey the time they say about picking you up. I had a case with them. Where their driver did not show up. It was a very busy city, and because of them i had to pay a taxi. I have written them numerous emails, they accepted that they did not send the driver (which I had paid before) but no refunds or nothing. Do not use their services.

“GET AWAY - AVOID !!!”

I have booked my transportation from CDG Airport Paris France to my hotel at arival and the return when living. The driver was only speeking french and no other language, the communication was terrible. At the return the driver came with delay of 30 minutes. I went to the toilet for no more than 20 minutes and at my return to the reception of the hotel the receptionist told me that he lived, as he could not wait. I was waiting him for 30 minutes and he could not wait for more than 15 minutes as the receptionist told me. I had a very bad expirience with that company. The hotel called me a taxi with an english speaking driver that came in 15 minutes and guest what with less cost. I will never take a drive with that company. I will Prefer a taxi. You can get advice from your hotel.
