Earlier, I booked and paid for the shuttle to take me from my hotel in Rome to Fiumicino airport on 23 October 2009. The shuttle was due to pick me up at 10.45 a.m. (3 hours prior to my flight). I called a day earlier to reconfirm my booking as I heard that there will be a strike on 23 October 2009. On the very day itself, after having waited till 11 a.m. and that the shuttle was nowhere in sight, I called to check. The operator told me to wait for another 10 to 15 minutes as there was a jam. Another 15 minutes passed and the shuttle did not arrive. So, I called them again to check. This time, the operator told me that the shuttle was around the corner (but it didn't seem to be the case as the shuttle did not arrive 5 minutes later). Subsequently, I called them to chase every 5 minutes. The final straw was the called made at about 11.30 a.m. I started screaming at the operator and asked if he was very sure that the driver would turn up. He then asked me to look for a taxi on my own. I would be alright if he told me earlier during my first call, not at the very last minute. Where was I supposed to look for a taxi at the very last minute when my flight scheduled to depart in 2 hours time? I went ballistic and refused to budge. Eventually, the shuttle arrived at almost 11.45 a.m. and the driver had to pick another 2 passengers. By the time I arrived at the airport, it was already 1 p.m. As I had to check-in and get my tax refund forms stamped (bearing in mind the long queue), I had to run. I barely made it on board in time. I would definitely not use them again. Terrible service, with the operators making empty promises.

On Sept 27th, 2009 we,a group of 10 people,had a flight into Athens GR. We had arranged and paid for,through WAT, a shuttle from airport to hotel. Our flight was delayed. we called WAT's contractor in Athens and cancelled our service for the appointed time and told them we would reschedule with them when we reached Frankfurt and found out when we would arrive in Athens.We could not raise them when we called, no one answered, we tried several times using the International operator. We used World Airport Transfers during June 2009 to and from the airport to our accommodations in both Rome and Paris.

No problems whatsoever. Polite drivers - good directions on where to meet.

Pick up from both hotels the shuttle was early which was fine because we were ready to go. (Better than being late)

I couldn't get a hold of a supervisor at World Air Transport and would up taking a cab from the airport costing me a bundle.No one was there, and I couldn't get through to anyone for help.

Incredible customer services from World Air Transport! I used them for Milan last year and Singapore 2 weeks ago.I was really like a VIP. Especially the Singapore supplier is amazing. Driver was very very friendly and he gave me some tips about Singapore on the way to my hotel. Highly recommended !

I travel a lot and already tried several airport transfer companies.
I have tried World Air Transport several times in Rome, Paris, London, Brussels and New York.
It's easy to book and the service i received was very good. They are one of the cheapest i think (on those destinations at least).
They select the best transportation companies, and have a lot of destinations with both shared and private services. It is easy to book and the customer service I've experienced is very effective ...

TI had booked quite late my airport transfer in Paris and the people at booking from the company World Airport Transfer were really helpful about my requests. I appreciated the fact that they took the time to answer my questions and they have delivered at the end, an excellent service.

The site is a very good help for people looking for a ground transportation solution with so many airports in the world. I would recommend it any time.

Booked shuttle in Rome through wold airport transfer. Though transportation actually took place as scheduled, I will not use them again for the following reasons:
- Price actually charged on CC different (higher) than price displayed on transaction screens
- Vouchers not sent within 24 hours as suggested on their website (so had to take my flight in NYC without any confirmation that somebody would be waiting for me in Rome)
- Payment confirmed and money charged way before sending vouchers

We had a terrible experience with a reservation booked with World-Airport-Transfer.com for Hong Kong. After arriving in Hong Kong after a 16-hour flight from the U.S., my wife and 1-year old daughter found no one waiting for them.
