“Do Not Waste Your Money-worse service ever”

Booked holiday taxis for our recent Tenerife vacation. We ordered a private taxi for four people. No driver waiting on our arrival. We eventually located their desk. Staff were rude and appeared not to understand our paperwork/confirmation document. Eventually we were led to a dirty minibus with torn seats and transferred with other passengers. “Malta transfers”

There was supposed to be a rep holding a 'Holiday Taxis' placard at Malta airport when we arrived but there wasn't. Eventually found our transfer coach which waited a further uncomfortable 80 minutes for more flights to arrive before setting off. An hour later we were dropped off about 50 mtrs from our hotel because the driver chose to be at the wrong end of a one way street. “Very bad experience”

When we arrived at The Holiday Taxi desk at Tenerife south Airport we were very brusquely told to stand and wait for our driver. After 15 minutes we realised our driver had been standing and chatting to his friends for the whole time. Our return journey was worse and the driver was 45 minutes late. “Private Transfer”

Booked a private transfer because of the late arrival at 9.45pm. When going by shuttle bus on previous trips we have waited between 45 - 90 minutes after arriving at the airport and expected to have taxi soon after this time. Still had a 45 minute wait which isn't good after paying for a taxi transfer. On return taxi went to wrong location and after they phoned me it arrived 25 minutes after call. “Great but with problems”

The actual transport to the hotel and back was quick and easy, but do not believe what they write about someone waiting for you with your name on a sign. Although they clearly had lots of clients there was no-one and we had to go and find their desk. The same with the return - no e-mail was sent to the hotel confirming the return transfer. “Professional Service”

We used Holiday Taxis for the first time in February. They were great. I was taken straight to the taxi and straight to our hotel no fuss. The taxi wasn't an old battered vehicle like we have had before with other companies. Holiday Taxis sent a reminder to the hotel for pickup on return a few days before and were there promptly. “Service has disimproved”

We used Holiday taxis on our last 2 trips to Los Gigantes but will not do so again. The pick up at the airport was fine but the driver insisted we were staying at a different apartment to the one we were actually going to. He dropped us off at the wrong place. Since i was concerned there would be confusion on our return journey, I asked the receptionist at our apartment complex to ring the local office for us. “Tenerife Airport to Club Olympus, Las Americas”

Had to wait about 15 minutes in coach until all passengers aboard. Unfortunately the coach had a lot of stops on the way making the journey, which normally would perhaps take 20 minutes, took about an hour! Unfortunately it was dark so couldn't see where we were but didn't know so many off the beaten track existed. “Toilet stops for shuttle”

When booking holiday Taxis shuttle, the gentleman that took my booking was very polite, helpful and friendly. The service was good at Tenerife but took some time before we got under way. “Very reliable service”

Easy to find at the airport sent immediately to the bus,didnt wait long for it to fill up.lovely clean bus and a rep spoke to us before the bus left,we had music on the bus and a lovely smooth drive..when returning we went to reception to verify our time for pick up,our names were on a list with the time...the bus was exactly on time and again a lovely smooth journey back to the airport..i would definately recommend this company and will use them again...even the booking was easy and excellant… Read Full Review

booked a taxi from las palmas airport to hotel and back on arrival airport service was good and taxi was ready after 2 days we had to fly back home due the fact that our brother in law died. the Friday (holiday in spain) i contacted the 24/7 number and got a very sleepy lady on the Phone who said tomorrow you are nr1 at the office number. that Saturday tried 3 times to Phone the office bur every time lady who was able to change the taxi to aitport was not in the office. back in holland… Read Full Review

Good Morning,

I have looked at your booking in our system and can see your travel agency called up to cancel the return. Unfortunately when an urgent amendment/cancellation needs to be done outside of office hours, weekends and bank holidays this may not be possible as we need to contact our supplier's main office to check for availability. We will try our best to rectify but if the supplier's main office is closed to change a booking for the day after when there is a bank holiday in Spain this can prove challenging.

As this is booked via a travel agency, amendments and cancellations would firstly need to be approved by themselves, they should have been the first contact in a cancellation. We have a 24 hour emergency number in the UK which should have been provided by your agency, the local supplier's emergency number is mainly for checking pick up times and the staff outside of the main office hours are usually unable to make any last-minute changes.

If you are not happy with the response that Lavida Travel originally sent you, please contact them so they can reinvestigate.

for me it must be easy when somebody died (and that is Always suddenly)it must be easy to change transfers asap at the place you are at that moment.
