    Good Points: Efficient, stylish, good reputation for reliability, storage arrangement.


    Bad Points: Changing the door to open the other side could be easier; side panel colour quite different from SS doors.


    General comments: The Siemens KG34NA40GB is a well built and spec'ed unit from a manufacturer with a good reliability reputation. The NA40 differs from the more expensive NA90 by only having Stainless Steel doors - the side panels are painted. Unfortunately the paint is a rather poor "grey" imitation of SS (not a problem in our case as one side is against a wall, and the other is covered in the kids drawings etc.

    Magnets will stick to the doors and sides, so you can "pin" stuff on if you are so inclined (as we are!).

    Changing the doors over from RH to LH opening is reasonably straight forward if you follow the instructions and take your time , but there is a small bracket at the top of the upper door that needs to be changed over which was obviously an oversight when the unit was designed - there's an amendment sheet to the instructions included with the instruction pack, and the screw itself is a "star headed" type - you'll need a "TP20" patterned head to unscrew and re-screw it in - not a problem if you have such a head in your power drill /socket set accessories as I had, but an irritant in an otherwise well designed product.
