We planned three weeks driving from Chicago to Santa Barbara California to a family wedding on Route 66. This meant arriving in Chicago, picking up a car and immediately driving to Downtown Chicago to the hotel. Impossible without a satnav. Zintech preprogrammed the satnav with every hotel destination on our trip, sent the device out early to us so that we could familiarize ourselves with it and generally made the whole process easy. I hired a US version of the Tom Tom sat nav from Zintech for a recent family fly/drive holiday to california, having found their service whilst searching on the internet. I used their online booking form and when it came to payment (which I have to admit is extremely reasonable) my work computer firewall would not allow verification of payment. I rented a satnav from Zintech for a recent extended stay in South Africa, having come across them on the internet and initially been a bit skeptical (I was ultimately convinced by all the reviews). What a lucky discovery it was! Not only were rates reasonable (had I hired a Satnav from car hire companies just for the time I needed it, which was a fraction of my total rental time from Zintech, I would have spent at least double) but I was really impressed by the customer service. I used the satnav during our holiday in South Africa, travelling on the Garden Route from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. It was invaluable when we had to make one long journey in the dark. The mapping was up to date and allowed the passenger to see the scenery without any detailed map reading.The instructions allowed you to position yourself early as you approached junctions. I had hire a Sat/Nav from a one of the popular car hire companies “Avis” 3 months before our trip to Malaysian. And 2 days before we left for Singapore they called me to say there would not be a Sat/Nav available. That nearly made us cancel the trip but then Zintech came to rescue. And as they said it will be delivered the very next day before 1pm and sure as it did. The Sat/Nav worked perfect throughout our time in Singapore and Malaysian. Excellent service. The SatNav arrived exactly as promised in good working order. Switching on having arrived in Johannesburg it worked flawlessly (with the most up to date maps given all the recent road development in SA) for 21 days even covering the Kruger wildlife park and all the sand roads! Zintech were about £20 more expensive to hire 4 sat navs for a weekend that one of their peers. So I went for the cheaper option. What a mistake! The other company had promised programmable sat nav's to add a pre-planned route. When they arrived I could not work out how to program them. I rang the firm who had sent them, and they also could not tell me how to program them. They asked me to ring the manufacturer who told me the sat nav's were not programmable. Hiring a sat nav cannot be any easier or more pleasant!!! I booked a 3 week hire of a sat nav unit last August and unfortunately had to cancel my holiday with just 2 days notice before I left. I emailed Zintech and a guy called Matt Satchell replied saying that unfortunately I could not receive my money back, but if I travelled anywhere else within the next 12 months then I could have another sat nav at no extra charge. I have hired from Zintech twice so far and on both occasions the TomTom arrived on time. The device was very easy to use and was a total lifesaver during long journeys to Devon and Bath, and also whilst driving through central London. Zintech make it exceptionally easy to hire and return items, and their equipment is modern and in excellent condition. I'm sure I will hire from Zintech plenty more times in the future. (read more)

I cannot fault Zintech service - the TomTom satnav arrived as stated by Zintech and returning the equipment was very straight forward.
Use of the Tomtom in South Africa saved a lot of map reading stress and by entering longtitude and latitude coordinates for the lodge in the game reserve, it got us there with hesistation or deviation.
Would highly recommend.

Couldn't have done without the Sat Nav whilst driving round the Alps - it was a real blessing!
Half the price of the Sat Nav from the car hire company and in English. No problem when driving over the borders in Europe, only downside was that it doesn't notify you of seasonal road closures. (Lack of this info meant a 300k round trip!)
All in all, I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely brilliant.
No car rentals in Portugal provided me with a Nav Sat and when I saw this company on the Internet I couldn't believe it to be true.
The guys are just amazing (they phoned me back as a reply to an e-mail) and the day after I had my sat nav at work.
The equipment was perfect, well kept, and the best part is: I asked a question at 9PM by email, and the answer was there 8 minutes later.

I booked the Sat Nav over the internet from Australia - I was a little concerned doing this from so far away but I had no reason to worry everything went to plan beautifully. Our TomTom turned up at our hotel on the day we requested (everthing we needed was included in the packaging) and it was a life saver for our trip around the UK. In a word `Lifesaver`! Hired a GPS for a trip to Europe - the journey was hassle free, and opened up new opportunities for us to explore further than we would have if we had to rely on road maps. We needed the sat nav for only part of our tour, so we had the sat nav posted to our mid-tour address, giving us a considerable saving. I found renting a TomTom Sat nav from Zintech to be very easy and good value for money.
I wanted to ensure I has a SatNav as soon as I arrived in Sydney and the car hire firn could not guarantee having one available. Hired this SatNav for driving around South Africa, doing over 4,000k in the process. Can honestly say the entire process was flawless from start to finish. It arrived on the day stated and the confirmation of return came very quickly too. It worked correctly and was indispensable driving around big cities. Hired a Sat Nav for use in South Africa. It was a very wise decision to do so given the road system, especially in Jo'burg. The more we used it, the more functions we found out about. The service from Zintech was first class with the Sat Nav arriving on the correct day and Zintech confirming safe reciept of its return. In total we drove almost 3,000km in two weeks and the Sat Nav no doubt saved us countless time as without it, we'd have been lost so many times.

Absolutely brilliant, it was sent early because of thefact we needed it immediately after Easter, came no problem, easy to use particularly useful in big cities also they let us know they had received it back OK which was comforting. There was an incident where we needed to get to the nearest hospital and couldn't wait for an ambulance. Thanks to the TomTom we were there within 12 minutes.

I had a very lengthy journey to Southern Spain and back, having hired a sat nav from Zintech, I used it to navigate through France avoiding the extortionate toll roads saving me at least £40 each way and as I paid £28 for it I was very pleased.
Also, the fact that I left it until the day before I travelled to place my order and it still turned up in time, is a testament to the company and how well they are organised.

Fast, efficient service. It was a God-send in Florida once my husband began to trust it! Rental cost cheaper than if we'd rented with car. Chose this company because they guaranteed a Tom Tom which we use at home and are familiar with workings. Had to pay postage to return although my husband had been told this would be paid. I used the TomTom in Australia, New Zealand and the USA for approximately six weeks and it never once got me lost. Directions were clear, concise and timely. It was also very cost efficient, saving me approximately £150 based on hiring a SatNav locally in each country.
The SatNav was delivered on time as promised and the whole procedure was as easy as could be. I have recommended Zintech to my Travel Agent to pass onto others who might need a SatNav while abroad.

I ordered my rental Sat Nav yesterday and, despite being told it would not arrive prior to 1pm - IT'S HERE! my partner signed for it at 9am! Amazing. This was an excellent bit of kit. I didn't want to spend a lot of money before my trip and just searched for a hire company of the cuff. Then I found Zintec. Wow! I managed to drive hassle free all the way to Bulgaria, constantly changing my course as the weather/traffic conditions were extremely rough in December. The cost for a 5 week break became a little more expensive than expected but overall it was a worthwile investment.
My only suggestion could be to advise when the maps were last updated as we found a few new roads in Melbourne were unknown.
