    Was a bit concerned after reading some of these reviews on here but my rucksack arrived the next day as described and aktive8 were the cheapest I could find on the web. Well chuffed.

    Ordered his and hers Karrimor walking boots from aktive8 at 2pm yesterday and they just arrived at work this morning. Well packaged and on time for my bank holiday trip to the Peak's. Really pleased with the quality of the product, overall service, and speed of delivery (which was also free) and at an amazing price to begin with. Just need some new socks now to go with them now. Would certainly use aktive8 again any time.

    I was a little wary of ordering my bike (a Raleigh Pioneer Metro GLX) from Aktive8 after reading some of the reviews. I guess it was the 15% saving that I stood to make that helped me to overcome my fears! Upon receipt of my order I was informed that the vendor hoped to receive the bike in 2 to 3 weeks and would send it on to me as soon as it arrived. This was the last communication from them.     I ordered an Arete Tour 40 bag and t-shirt from this www.aktive8.com yesterday. It was in stock, they payment went through fine, I sent a message along with the order to ask for the bag to be sent out in the early post if possible as I am going away on Thursday and need it before then.     I Ordered a Karrimor Sabre Delta Rucksack online with Aktive8 at 8AM on a Thursday. It was with me by 11AM the next day. Fantastic!

    Third time I've used Aktive8 and have been really happy on all 3 occasions. Just bought some Karrimor boots with 45% off the normal price which arrived within 2 days with free p&p. Last order for a ski jacket I had to swap for a larger size which was no problem called them up got the returns sorted and then arranged a swap. All nice and friendly, give them a try I'd recommend them. Nice, easy to use site + good prices

    I wish I had read these listings to see their poor customer score.
    Got my refund..... Eventually - Took 6 emails (sometimes they didn't reply), 2 trips to the Sorting office. Told 2 different dispatch dates by email, another by the website tracking system.
    Would have scored 0 out of 10, but they did sort the refund, so 1 out of 10.

    I have experienced slow responses to any communication, sometimes I haven't received any response at all! I still haven't received a refund for returned goods yet, despite calling me to tell me that they had authorised the transaction.

    I ordered a daysack on August 20. They emailed me two days later to let me know it was out of stock and it would be available within 3-4 weeks. I emailed them back right away to cancel the order and refund my Credit Card, but did not receive a reply. After reading some bad reviews I started thinking that I would never see my refund...     I am writing this review because of the strange aktive8 customer service I received. I have ordered travel bag from Aktiv8 because it was the cheapest, with free postage and guarantee to arrive within couple of days. As I needed the bag for particular trip I have emailed the company asking when should I expect delivery.     I ordered 2 bikes from Active8 and have only had 1 delivered. I have emailed them 5 times but have not received a response yet. Tried calling at various times of day but no one ever answers the phone whenever I've tried.
    I would not use this company again.

    Ordered Rucksac from aktive8, needed it quickly. Said it was in stock when I ordered, it wasn't. I cancelled the order in late April.Its now early august and I'm still waiting for a refund.

    I ordered a cycle pump in mid-June and they debited my card the same day. I heard nothing for a few days, so I tried calling them to see if the order was being processed, but I couldn't get through whenever I called.     I placed an order with aktive8.com in April for my trip to Africa three weeks later. They charged the card straight away, and I had to contact them myself just before my trip to find out they had no stock of what I ordered. Luckily I managed to buy everything before departure. However, three months later, I still haven't had my refund. I've had no replies to my Emails yet, and I find by phone it is very difficult to get through. I do not recommend them!

    Bought 3 pairs of mountain bike shorts from aktive8 for me and 2 friends who're doing a sponsored bike ride. They had the best price on line for oakley mtb shorts and the stuff turned up the next day. Called them up to enquire about tops to go with the shorts and got through on the phone no problem although they did say that their phones do get pretty busy. Now got 3 tops delivered to match the shorts. Well pleased and comfortable!

    Ordered a Berghaus Jalan bag from www.aktive8.com last Sunday night and the bag arrived via a courier to my work at 9.30am on the Tuesday. I don't normally write reviews but found this one while looking for something else for my trip to Europe later in the summer. I guess I wanted to make the point that not all customers are unhappy with Aktive8 I got my bag really quick and saved over 25 quid on the high street price!

    I ordered a pack from www.aktive8.com that I was assured was available. My order was processed, I was charged, yet it appears they ran out of stock. I cancelled the order. Active8 have still charged me for the order. I have had no reply yet to emails I have sent, and my phone calls were not answered whenever I called. One month on I still do not have my money back and am still waiting for a reply from the company.

    Even though they took the full amount of the order from my credit card on the day of the order, goods still have not arrived. I phoned them several times, each time the phone going to an answerphone with no option to leave a message. No reply to emails so far. Eventually, after 30 days waiting, I had to contact my credit card company to get a refund.

    I ordered a pair of walking shoes 10 days ago from aktive8, my order tracker only shows the date of purchase. I believe they have debited my card with the price. I find it difficult to get through on the phone as it is always busy when I phone. I have e-mailed twice but not yet been contacted by them.
