    I have recently just ordered my wedding dress from confetti and lace and must say that the service I received was really good. I had an idea of what type of dress I wanted. I went with my bridesmaid, my mum and my 5 month old nephew. The assistants were all very friendly and offered some great advice. We were all offered complimentary champagne, and even offered bottle warming for my nephew. When trying dresses on, the assistant made sure I was comfortable in them, and then from what I tried on gave me advice on other styles to try. I found my perfect dress. I couldnt have asked for friendlier assistants, so by the time it came to being measured, I felt totally at ease.

    I would reccomend this shop to anyone!!

    I dont go for my fitting for a few months, but I am sure that as I have left plenty of time, everything will be correct.

    I bought my dress from a wedding show in February on their Confetti and Lace stand and with less then three months to go before my wedding, I have still not received a swatch as promised and the dress has not yet arrived. I was told it would arrive 21st Sept, then the date came and went and told within two weeks after that date it can arrive. Still waiting and all they do is tell me they will chase it.     I would give this 0 stars if it would have let me but it didnt! I bought my bridesmaids dresses from Confetti & Lace in Lakeside - instantly they didnt really wanna serve me because i look so young, sort of the view i couldnt possibly be serious/be able to afford their wonderful shop. They never once offered me a drink or really helped it was up to me to ask things i needed to no etc. I have 3 adult BM and one 7year old, i didnt want the 7 year old in the same dress as the adults because the adu ...

    i would not recomend any one to buy their dress from confetti & lace. Very quick to sell you one but if there are any problems there is never any management around to help you. We ended up taking a dress that had marks on it from being altered as they left it right to the last minute awaiting a reply from our letter of complaint

    i just order my dress from Confetti & Lace Lakeside. It was one of the cheaper dresses . I was treated very well and given champagne plus a full two hours advice and fitting.the staff were VERY friendly.ok i haven't got my dress yet but feel comfort leaving it in there hands

    I went along with my sister-ini-law to Confetti & Lace Lakeside and encountered an extremely rude woman - a polite enquiry about negotiating ended up with us being almost thrown out of the shop. Extremely rude - it almost ended up spoiling our whole girlie day out (all bridemaids and mums were there too). I complained to the shopping centre and they said they would look into it.     After having an arguement with a very rude woman at Confetti & Lace Lakesid on the phone about the £25 consultation fee, i booked a saturday evening appointment to view a particular dress that I was told by them that they had in stock. I got my bridemaids together, and when we got there they didn't have the dress.     The first visit was to make an appointment, the lady I spoke to was impolite! The second visit was for the appointment and the young lady seemed disinterested and vacant. The dress I tried on was old and and dirty!

    On my first visit to Confetti and Lace Lakeside, the young girl who served me was polite but didn't really say much. I got the impression that after trying on about 10 dresses and not liking them that she was getting fed-up with me. Although the room for actually viewing the dress once you're wearing it is quite big it's actually quite small when you have 3 brides in their dresses all trying to look in the mirror!     I went here recently with my sister who is getting married next Autumn. I would seriously suggest giving this experience a miss. The staff appeared on the whole seemingly rude and disinterested and considering we had an appointment which we had paid for, any idea of a welcoming, warm, friendly approach to customer service seemed to be completely out of the question.     This shop knows customer service and how to make you feel like a princess. I went in for my appointment and was fine paying £25, I am the type of person that thinks that you pay for good service, and that is what I received. I have been to a few other stores that didn't charge and I didn't get anywhere near the service I got through Confetti and lace.     I had a really good experience with Confetti & Lace when I went to try dresses on and again when I went back to try them on again and finally order my dress. I dealt with a brilliant Sales Assistant.     I called today to book an appointment for bestfriend and myself, as we are both getting married next year. The lady that answered was very polite and said she was sure that she had appointments available for Saturday.     Terrible customer service from Confetti & Lace in Lakeside- I didn't even get an apology when their mistakes were uncovered. I felt they were arrogant and completely unprepared to admit any fault.
    My dress fitting experience (which should have been fabulous) ended in tears and they were very indifferent about it all.
    Would not recommend this shop to anyone that is looking for their perfect dress.... after all buying your wedding dress is as much about the experience as it is the actual item its ...
