Very disappointed with this company. The customer service representative was very friendly, took my order over the phone. I stressed that I need the lights ASAP, but was told that as I am placing the order on a Friday, it is likely that it will be processed on Monday and from then on it will take 5-7 working days. Well, 16 working days later and still no lights. Waste of time, there are companies who deliver on time and keep customers updated. What use is a good price if they cannot deliver the goods?

We ordered a wall light from your website in an attempt to match one we already have, having been told by another company that the item is no longer available. Your brilliant Customer Service team could not have been more helpful in sourcing this item for us direct from the supplier. I've got my own contract business and have spent a fair amount of dosh with directlight.co.uk. They've spent ages on the phone with me going through their clearance stock and have done some cracking prices. I don't normally bother with review sites but came across this one and felt some comments were unfair. My experience with this company has been a good one. I looked at these reviews after I placed my first ever order on the net and quite frankly I was worried so I phoned directlight the day after. My call was answered in 3 rings, the girl on the phone was very helpful, she went through my order with me, checked all the details and helped me choose more lights for when I am ready to do my kitchen. My order arrived in 7 days and I was delighted, great value for money and excellent service.

Im regularly on the web buying various bits and bobs as a architect and would definitly visit directlight again for my projects. Efficient and speedy delievery lots to choose from the lights look stunning 9/10

I spent over 2K with directlight and got a great discount. There are some cowboys on the web and directlight are not one of them. Prices are very competitive, girls on the phone are helpful and I will use them again in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to recm'd this site and my overall shopping experience was a good one. directlight have a friendly customer service team. Honest company who despite being a little slow delivering came up trumps in the end. Worth giving them a go. I've being renovating my house for a year and have had some bad experiences on the web. 7/10

Absolutely appalling service from www.directlight.co.uk. The light fittings I ordered were delivered late and one of them was damaged. To date their customer services department have failed to reply to my repeated e-mails and telephone messages (claiming never to have received them) and trying to get a replacement has proved a nightmare. Purchased an item but found that directlight could not meet my delivery timescale (my fault, not theirs), but the speed of communication and understanding from them was excellant.

I would definately order from them again, but I will need to order quicker :-).

i was looking across the web for some new lights for my home, then i came accross Direct light. In which I love the way it was set out. It was so user friendly and so was the staff who answered all of my questions about the lights i brought from them

Incredibly bad service at www.directlight.co.uk . Took the money then waited, and waited..... nothing. Only communication was when it was initiated by me to attempt to find out what (if anything) was happening to my order. Never again.

They gave me a delivery average of 5-7 working days, i ordered on the Tuesday morning and received my ceiling light and matching wall lights on the Friday afternoon. The packaging was really good and they were delivered in perfect condition.Value for my money and the discount given.my emails we answered very promptly and i even received a email and text message from their delivery company to let me know if was going to be delivery.

I thought Direct Light looked very professional on the website but once I took the plunge of purchasing an item I felt like I was left completely in the dark as to when it would turn up. I did not recieve any infomation on progress of my order and when I tried their customer services I seemed to go straight through to the answer machine , e-mails have not been responded to yet either. I waited 4 weeks for a table lamp I ordered but cancelled the order and got a refund.

I ordered a lamp with directlight in November. Estimated delivery 3-5 days. Four weeks later there was still no delivery. No news and so far no reply to e-mails or voicemails left. Despite several attempts I struggled to speak to anybody on the phone. I will need to report them to my credit card company to get my money back.

I ordered with Directlight and they took my money in August, then nothing happened. Left many voicemails, no replies. It sometimes took weeks to to reply to emails! Then eventually they informed me the items were discontinued and then some weeks later I was informed that the substitutes I requested were also discontinued. Now I have still not got my money back in December, 4 months after they took it.

I ordered just under £400 worth of lights from www.directlight.co.uk, 1 lamp & 2 ceiling lights & was told they would be with me within 3-5 days but please allow 7-10 at this time of year (November), which was fair enough. After 7 days the lamp arrived in perfect working order, well packaged & looks lovely, now we wait for the matching ceiling lights... & wait... & wait.

I've read bad reviews & some good reviews of Directlight... I've just bought £400 worth of lights from them - a saving of more than £100 from their nearest Internet competitor. To achieve that I feel they cut their costs to the bone so their are NO frills, like telephone operators to chat or wait for e-mails. That said i got a phone call pre-dispatch checking I was who i said I was; the goods arrived promptly & were well packed.

I am a happy bunny with the lights I wanted & a GOOD ...
