“So called monsoon trouser”

I have owned these for more than two years wearing them to commute. Even in slight rain after about 10 mins they leak heavily around the crotch area. I returned my first pair for this reason & the replacement pair are the same. Not fit for purpose. (read more)

I use them for commuting, 2.5 hours per day and found them very comfortable, warm in the winter and have never got wet while wearing them, I don't know what happened to the other reviewers but I have been in many downpours without any problem. (read more)

Fit is ok, the Richa Monsoon Trousers look ok, but they leak like a sieve, even my phone in the pocket was swimming in water after 45 mins riding. Tousers underneath were soaked, also underwear. Have had an exchange as the 1st pair leaked, so it was not a one off. The hip protectors rolled up in to a ball, but they are trying to replace those, been waitng about 4 weeks. Not a good purchase for me. I've had them 11 months. I need to look for something better. (read more)

These motorcycle trousers are OK as a starter until you can afford better. Not very good at keeping you dry even in rain that i wouldnt class as heavy. Not gore-tex lined, but with a name like "monsoon" you would expect them to do the job well. Hein Gericke do better and they are guaranteed. (read more)

I am a very tall rider, 6 ft 7 in (200cm) so the leg length on the Richa Monsoon Trousers was a very important factor for me. This was pretty much the only thing I could find with a long leg so I didn't have much of a choice to give it a try.
I use my bike to commute to work in the city of London and I wear a suit to work. Thus I was looking for something to wear over the suit. I am more than 100% satisfied with the product. The legs are indeed very long (even longer than I actually need them... (read more)
