This was our 3rd trip with star tours and unfortunately it would be our last. We travelled with our 3 year old to Disney land special tour.First we were allocated seats at the last though we had booked the tickets very early. We were seated diagonally opposite in the last two rows and it spoiled the holiday experience as a family. Second the quality of food in the Indian restaurant was below average. “Skanda Vale Temple Trip”

On 7th April, 2017 a group of 16 people booked a trip to Skanda Vale Temple in Wales from Wembley in London. We were supposed to leave at 10:30pm, there was no sign of the coach till 10:45pm and when it did come, it was a 12 seater van. As there was 16 of us, that obviously was not possible, therefore we asked the driver what was to do next. I have booked a tour to Europe and discussed the schengen visa requirement with a Customer care executive. after this I have booked the tour and have sent passport and all documents for visa stamping with Star tours, Then they calls up and say that there is some problem with the validaity of my UK visa, which I clearly verified with star tours on phone. I had to go through 5 different people to chat with.I just need an email on the itinerary and the cost by email to give to my bank for the approval of the funds. Last I was confirmed by a rep called Urvi and she said that i should receive the email in 5 minutes. it is already 15 minutes now and I have not received. what I need. Hi, I have booked the trip Swiss special with Star Tours which departed London on 29th of Sep. I was really happy with the accommodations, food and the coach provided. They were top class. But I was really disappointed with the tour manager. We opted for the Jungfrau optional excursion. While returning he left us at Jungfrau. Traveled with star tours on august 2016 (MJEP) departure .we had very bad experience with this company & just received apology from his customer relation manager. Tour manager  was rude person & insulted my friend many times in tour & he don't know how to talk. hotel rooms given at Netherlands (NH) has dirty gutter smell & hotel manager/ tour manager refuse to Change rooms in-spite of my several request & my daughter sleep 2 nights in that dirty room & got sick. food at most of places are… Read Full Review

Never book with the company, The tour can get cancelled without any notice and the conpay will refuse to release deposit till 2 weeks before the trip. speak with anyone on call centre/ "SIR i will have conformation by tommorow and will give you a call but we cannot process the refund as the trip has not been cancelled" have been saying this for a week… Read Full Review

food at most of places are tasteless & sightseeing times given are less.
we have been promised front four seats because we are first tour to book almost 6 month in advance with full payment.but last minute they refuse & from day 1 of tour we feel like cheated.
we have been traveled with cox & kings /sotc tour company in past but first time we got bad experience .

we will not recommend this company & will not travel again with star tours UK has office in wembley(London)

“Swiss Express tour”

Tour Manager - Wajid Whole the tour should be scrapped and merged to some other tour. The itenary says Tour is for 5 days but you actually enjoy 2 days, rest 2.5 days are simply traveling on the bus. To travel to switzerland we need to cross france, Germany, luxembourg via bus which consumes 2 days of the bus journey. I felt mis-guided with the itenary. “Waste of time and money”

We took 12 days European delight tour starting on 20 Jul 2016. 1) More than half of tourists in the coach did not understand english but tour manager refused to do commentary in Hindi, even though he knew Hindi very well. 2) Coach driver tried to make life difficult by taking our luggage out stating only single luggage per person. Update: Star Tours finally refused to pay for the wheelchair damage and abta unable to help with comment from Star Tours "We have informed the passenger that any items placed in the luggage hold is placed at our discretion and their own risk, as we would not be able to clearly ascertain if the damage was caused by our partners etc". I paid more than 10K and Star Tours is not ready to own £80 damage they caused. Clearly, great customer service.

“5 day trip to Panaromic Europe Trip on 28th March'16”

Worst ever experience we had during our entire trip. Surendra, who is our coach manager is not really a worthy person to fit the role. He is not at all informative about the places we have been to. We always looked for the journey to end during our entire trip, imaginge that boring it was. We found another coach manager from the different coach, where she is more informative and the way she approaches the ppl is really likable and more interactive. We booked for a 4 day Swiss flight tour from UK for our family including our parents living in India. We made a booking in early June for this holiday in October as we needed a Visa letter for our parents living in India. Absolutely poor service standards, hotel not what you would expect and quite far from the city so you can not do anything on your own. Some places are shown as you drive past them so its just a ticking the box that you have covered them. Thank you for your feedback.

I will address your concerns below by point to ensure we have successfully answered your feedback.
In regards to your seats, we do not promise or guarantee you a seat despite a request as you can appreciate we get numerous requests for front seats and we apply those seats based on time of booking, additionally available seats is no indication of where you will be seated as operational planning means you could be on any given bus. I understand your wife suffers from motion sickness unfortunately this medical condition is not endorsed to provide front seats.
Seats being changed by our tour manager are subject to our discretion and the passengers on the coach accepting the move.
We do mention on our General Information that the meals provided are Buffet set meal, this is always sent to you when making a booking. All our restaurants follow a strict guideline and audited to ensure compliance, please do get in touch with us and we can check this for you in depth. All buffet meals are subject to being served at a certain temperature and cooking method which is recorded for each meals served by us or affiliate.
We do not provide a complementary breakfast, rather a complementary snack - they are pre-packaged and control cooked to be eaten as a room temperature snack, as you can appreciate it is difficult and against H&S to warm such a snack.
We at no point state that we provide a bottle of water o any our tours, however we do make regular stops were they can be purchased at a nominal cost. Alternatively the Driver and Tour Manager do carry their own supply which if in need you can ask for.
As the coach is moving WC facilities are for emergency use, and since there is no fixed water source we do maintain that it has limited flushes available, replenishment of water source and drainage is controlled throughout EU as we are dealing with human waste. On your particular tour there were regular stops.
Our breakfasts are continental breakfasts which include – Toast, cereals, Bread, croissants, yogurt, fruit juices, cheese and Ham
Prior to your tour we do send text message alerts and a phone call. I am sorry if this did not reach you, I would need for you to get in touch with us to find out why and investigate.

I have nothing to add for further investigation need etc., because concerns are even not taken seriously when I addressed them in my email after our return. I believe in-depth comparison of my feedback with “wishy-washy” response will help readers.
