When my wife and I decided to do some travelling around Greece earlier this year, we were worried at first that the hostels we would come across would not be to our liking. This was true of some, but the Pink Palace was lovely and perfect for us. As we were a bit older than most of the other guests staying there, this might have been a problem but it really wasn't. There was so much to do and see.
The location is wonderful, high on the mountain side overlooking a incredible view of the beautiful sea. The staff are helpful, friendly, and nothing seemed to be too much of a problem-they even provided a free bus service to pick us up at the port which was very convienient.
The price was reasonable, and great value too. It included a homecooked breakfast and dinner, and it was very fulfiling so lunch for us wasn't really needed! The rooms were comfortable and clean, probably the two most important qualities. And there were other added bonuses such as an internet room, a nice bar near the reception area etc.
During the day there was plenty to do and see. The countryside around the Pink Palace is perfect for exploring and having a walk. We also discovered the historical sites of old Corfu town.
Although there are plenty of activities for younger people, such as the nightclub, if that isn't really your scene (which it wasn't for us) then you are far away enough from it so it doesn't bother you. But in general the guests staying there were a big mix of all ages anyway.
When we next travel to Corfu, we will definitely be staying at the Pink Palace again, couldn't recommend it more!

I stayed at the Agios Gordios, Pink Palace Hostel for a week and decided that it is amazing! There was so much to do and see. There are lots of activities and great facilities included with the price. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the beach is beautiful.
The price is reasonable, and includes a delicious breakfast and dinner!
We even got a free pick up from the airport, I will definitely be returning very soon for more good times at the Pink Palace. ...

I visited the pink palace last march of 2008 and had the best time ever! I was expecting it to be kind of dead, maybe not great weather but I was sure wrong!! There were LOADS of people there, (who as a frevious person reviewed, so happy to be there!) and it was sunny and warm out! ...I stand corrected about my prediction......AND I found myself laying on the beach working on my tan in march!!! I was sure impressed with the quality of the rooms too....soooo clean and quiet! I made so many new fr ...

I visited the Pink palace last summer August 2008, with my two daughters (high school grad gift) in Greece for 2 weeks. The Pink Palace Hostel was excellent and very relaxing. We met a lot of people and made new friends from all over the world. Everyone staying there just raved about the place, they were so happy to be there. Everyhting about the place was perfect, the food, the cheap drinks, the toga parties, the booze cruise, the quad safaris, i could go on and on!! Highly recommend to any ...

After traveling around Europe for 2 months we needed to relax and unwind from the hectic life of backpacking in major cities, so we headed to the Island of Corfu, Greece. As soon as we arrived people from The Pink Palace were waiting to take us for free to the hostel! When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and the location is amazing! Our room was very clean and the cost is so cheap! We had sea views from our room balcony and the sunsets are gorgeous! The food, service, accommodations and ...
