    further to my earlier reveiw it has arrived after all .....it was dhl there local courier who mis delivered it and thanx to an honest resident who lives down the road i got it last nite .......dhl and there local delivery agent someone not employed by them let us all down and further even though the parcel was tracked i found dhl to be unhelpful slow in response well im still waiting and not that concerned ...dhl dhl dhl if i have a choice in future it will not be them......scopes n skies were not to blame were helpful from the outset and i would recomend them anytime...k s gair

    tues 3rd nov ordered over telephone bresser lcd microscope n slides in stock for next day delivery as was urgent..was sent by dhl.......thursday 5th phoned to ask were my parcel was ....tracked by dhl to local delivery agent who says it was delivered an signed for ....eh not by me ....tis now sunday 8th and am awaiting the customer service and microscope one would expect from both partys involved ....ive phoned mastercard and reported the loss to the police now its just a waiting game for the st ...

    Scopesnskies were the cheapest for the few items I wanted, and offered free delivery to boot. I was therefore surprised and pleased when the goods arrived next day by recorded delivery - excellent service.

    A lesson well learned about impulse buys... always look for reviews before going ahead with the purchase. I bought a pair of cheap binoculars, not expecting much, but at least a complete pair would have been good. I received the box in good time and when I opened it the right lens fell off! Great! Called Scopes N Skies and received a code to send the binoculars back, which I duly did.     I ordered a spotting scope from Scopes N Skies for my wifes birthday and it turned out I had misunderstood her requirements a little. They were very good about taking it back and recommended a telescope that was £150 cheaper! I got good advise and a telescope that we are both enjoying. We got a free binocular with the telescope and now keep it in the car. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Worst company I have ever come across on the internet bought many items off them and every one next day delivery all items took around six days .Many Scopes N Skies items took a lot longer and I had to phone to find out were out off stock (shody) . I ordered an expensive pair of binoculars only to find after waiting for two weeks ( next day delivery yeh right ) left lense was defective .I returned them they got there in two days took another week for the replacement to arive back and when opened ...

    My first puchase arrived next day. Excellent service from Scopes N Skies. Later I made a personal visit to their showroom on a Saturday morning. It is on an industial site so plenty of room to park and try out the scopes etc., which they had ready to try. They took time and made every effort to fit me up with the best product within my price range. I have'nt seen anything better in my price range and I have already recommended them to my daughter.

    Bought twice from Scopes N Skies . First was a Skywatcher Explorer 130mm with motor - came next day works nicely and was a good price in my opinion. I had ordered a 2" eyepiece that wouldnt have worked with it so they phoned me up and offered to take it off the order or send me a different eyepiece that would fit my scope. Great service there, was chuffed. 2nd eyepiece was never charged and didnt arrive however ^^. Second i ordered new eyepieces, a barlow, binos and other small bits. Didnt arri ...

    I bought a refracting telescope from Scopes N Skies and decided it was not really what my son and I wanted. They gave me good advice and upgraded the scope (with a discount). Very happy with purchase - we also got a free book by Patrick Moore. We have recently visited their showroom. The place is amazing - it must be the world's biggest telescope shop! Good choice, low prices, helpful people (once you get through!). Only bad point was had to phone three times to get an answer.

    Just received my binoculars from Scopes N Skies which were an upgrade from the make/model I ordered. At a time when postal services were severely disrupted by bad weather (I had no mail for nearly a week) delivery was a little bit late but completely understandable due to the conditions. Because of the weather delay I phoned and spoke to a very pleasant and helpful lady who explained the upgrade.

    They haven't delivered my microscope ordered mid November, needed urgently for a school project for my Grandson. My card was charged immediately my order was put in, but the item not dispatched. Following telephone calls I was told I would receive it by the end of this week. Not recieved so I rang again and told I would receive a call from them. Have not received the call or the microscope. It is now Saturday 6th December 2008. Poorest service I have ever received.

    On the 2 occasions I used Scopes N Skies both items they have sent me have been in working order (2 pair binoculars). On the occasion i didn't like the product (2 years ago), as they didn't suit me, I called them up and asked about refunding postage and they were fine about it.

    I read several bad reviews of this company which may well be true but as I have only had good service from them it seemed only fair to add these positive comments as i am very happy with the service.

    Problem with an EQ6 Pro mount. Emailed them - never received a reply.
    Called them - promised to ring back, never did.
    Eventually spoke to someone who promised to send out new hand controller - never received it.
    Would never use them again

    Took delivery of a pair of binoculars from Scopes N Skies which I found unsatisfactory. Was told to return them and the return postage would be paid by ScopesnSkies. I returned them 1st class recorded and my initial outlay was refunded minus 10% handling.

    I have tried to contact them by email and phone to reclaim the postage and handling, but I did not receive any reply to my emails and when I phoned, I get a nice lady saying that she'll get someone to phone me back....heard nothing for 2 weeks ...

    I got a zoom binocular for £40 and it was hard to use. I sent it back and took advice from them and got a binocular for £5 less and it was very good - a lot better that the more expensive zoom.

    My order from Scopes N Skies was never delivered and SnS confirm that it was returned to them. But after six months I'm still waiting for my money back.
