General comments: I found Perfect Inn Boutique Hotel when I visited Drum Tower. This Hotel is very attractive.
I took a coffee from Perfect Coffee shop then asked reception if I could see the room and I liked it and made a booking.
Next morning I checked in from my previous Hotel.
Superior room, is very good size for long term stay. It is very nicely decorated and has a cozy and warm touch. It is very clean. I got the room furthest away from the main road, so it is pretty quiet. The staff are very helpful and always ready to serve your whim. Many of them speak rather good English. Be warned, the hotel does not have a lift, so you'll be depending on the helpful porters if you have extra heavy luggages. I dare say they serve the best tasting breakfast amongst the few other hotels that I've previously stayed in. Do not mistake me, I mentioned taste, not variety. It is just a small buffet spread but the chefs do pay attention to the taste. Made me look forward to the early mornings. Convenience wise, the location is easily accessible. If you're looking for lots of night life, then stick to the Gulou area. Surrounded by office blocks, it tends to be noisy in the day and rather peaceful at nights. It is just a 2-3 minute stroll to the Drum Tower. The nearest Subway station is Gulou dajie Station which is a good 10-15 minute walk. Overall, I say Beijing Boutique is quite worthwhile. I'll definitely come back if my stay is less than 7 nights.

Very good hotel! Our room was very large and perfectly clean. We had a very nice time in the hotel. We don't have any complains. Beijing and the hotel were fantastic.
