Google have penalised just search for using black hat SEO technics. They no longer appear for the search term SEO.
The following is from there own website.
"We have been at the top of Googles page 1 for searches like ‘SEO’ and ‘search engine optimization’ for many years, but it appears someone objects to this and has decided to take the matter into their own hands. This is unfortunate, and we’ll be dealing with this over the next few days"
Long few days this happened in April 2012. They still have no idea how to fix the problem. Ask yourself this before using them. If they cannot optimise there own site what hope have they got of doing yours!

That would follow on from a review I found on someone's site.
For some reason the full review isn't there anymore - it was a while ago though.
Have a look at the comments as some just search customers posted links to their own sites and people have looked at the links just search have got for them. It seems as if Just search just sent that customers site to lost of free directories. It's absolutely crazy.

These are not competitors that are complaining... Yes you will see good results at first, but then google picks up the links they build as SPAM for the simple reason that they are spam.
If you still went with Just Search, despite these reviews, you are crazy.
If you wish, I will more than happily provide evidence that I am a customer and that Just search are threatening legal action for a pittiful amount of money considering that they have caused more than £10k worth of damage.

That's not true. Our backlink campaign has barely started. The work they've done to date is primarliy on-site optimisation through site content and meta-tags. The backlink campaign has barely even begun.
At the end of the day, this company have done more for us in a few weeks than other SEO companies have done in two years. I'll be sticking with justsearchseo as I've spoken to other bonafide clients of theirs who've been on-board with them for years and ahve nothing but good to say. I don't believe for a second that a company like justsearch would use anything other than white hat methods and they certainly wouldn't use link farms and spamming as you suggest.

I'm not sure what industry you're in or how aggressive your competitors are. However, it's not unheard of for competitors to carry out negative SEO campaings. It's not nice, they can flood the net with backlinks to your site, making Google think you're spamming, trying to get you penalised. It does work, just as flooding review sites with negative comments works against your competitors.

I've had a look at your website. I'm no expert but I do know a fair bit about SEO and your site does not look optimed for serach engines in any way, shape or form! You don't even have H1 tags on your home page!?
As I say, I'm no expert but I do know quite a lot about it having owned several websites and spoken to numerous SEO guru's. H1 tags are a necessity and just the fact you don't have these tells me whoever's optimised your website has been taking the mick.
Your home page keywords don't seem to target "business electricity". Another really strange one!
I have been working with Just Search and they're re-written my main site content and meta-tags. Your site does not resemble anything they would have done, it just doesn't make sense to me as your onsite SEO seems very, VERY poor.

Avoid like the plague IMHO. I stopped paying Just Search because the work they have done has crippled my business. They have now sent me a cheeky letter threatening to take me to court if I don't pay the money owed to them. Even if they do win, there is no money left in the pot as I have even had to stop paying myself a salary since they messed up my business - that's how much they crippled me!!! I received my court papers today. Only 3 months but will contest it and counter claim. Will be building a case up over the next few days and will include all of the bad reviews here. Will claim for atleast what i have paid them over the past 18 months £7,200 but will also claim for a proper SEO company to put it right that could cost them 20k easy

Lol. Your official response to a bad public review arrived 1 month faster than a paying customer email enquiry.
I was never offered a face to face meeting. I was told that I was not allowed to speak to the link building team because they were too busy fixing the 40 something % of just search customer accounts that got hit by googles updates for spam link building.

I would also like to add, that Just Search are the ONLY company to have ever built ANY links to my site.
I asked Just Search for a report detailing the links which they had built, and also a report detailing which ones they had removed - as I had requested they undo ALL their work... They were unwilling to provide me with a list of links, but were quick to say ALL links had been removed.
According to Google webmaster tools, there are still unnatural links pointing to my domain. If Just Search just cleaned up their shoddy work, I would have been happy to honour the contract.

We contracted just search based on their positioning within the search engines and the sales patter that came out of the guys mouth. I've spent over £10,000 with them so far and not only have we not improved we've got worse in positioning. Once they have your money they arent interested, no questions are answered, days to respond to emails - they have officially ruined our business that took us over 10 years to build. They changed my page content (for the worse), changed URLs without advising me (so my paid for SEO failed for a while) and worst of all they got me from bottom of page 1 google to top of page 3 for my target keyword. I've read all the comments below and agree with all the negative posts, and concur the sales team is very good. But that is where all the good stuff ends. The one thing I would add, apart from poor results / no change in position from when we started to when they finally took the last of the 12 month payment is the letter I received last week. I have recently joined just search and after reading these reviews I was worried for money that I was spending on my campaign but so far they have delivered what they promised. As far as rankings go results are not brilliant but as they explained it's initial stage of the campaign so before they re-structure my website and make it seo friendly I sholdn't expect high rankings which makes sense. My biggest regret is not having given my dog a computer, buying £3600 worth of dog treats and letting him hammer away on the keyboard for 6 months rather than giving my money to Just Search (or Justsearching or justsearchseo however you best know them). It has got to be the worst experience in Bussines, they take at least a week to respond to e-mails. After one year whit Just Search my website lost lots of positions. Exp: two of the common key phrases was on page 7-8 and after one year SEO whit Just Search one is on page 17 the other one on page 15 Small business do not waist your time and money , i know very well that they have really good sales team and they will promise you everything until you sign the contract.Do not sign any contract whit them . I have been using the services of Just Search for nearly two years now. My choice was simple...Just Search were featuring in position 2-3 in the natural Google search rankings, clearly they were doing something right. Well indeed they were, however recently it would seem that Google have exposed their network and knocked them onto page two. Great review. Thanks for the heads up as confirms what I had heard. That and take a look at the accounts, as the 3 directors have a string of liquidated and heavily CCJ'd companies in their wake...

Possible the best thing we ever did as a company was to team up with Just Search. We now have the top ranking website in our industry all 5 of our selected keywords rank 1st on Google what more could you ask for.
These rankings were achieved within a 6 month period but we started seeing 1st page results in just 2-3 months.

We have been using Justsearching for over 5 years. They optimised 5 of our chosen keywords, all of which I'm pleased to say rank on the 1st page of Google. In Feb/Mar 2010 we lost all our 1st page rankings. This was not their fault, it's because a competitor copied our content. Once we'd established the cause for our sudden drop, our website was back on page 1. I have another site, which I'm about to have optimised by them too. Fingers crossed they can deliver again. Do not waste your time or money with this company, they trade on the fact that they can get themselves to number one, but after spending in excess of £15k I was told that after a year they "couldn't" understand why we were not appearing. They then offered another year's free work but asked if they could use less competitive keys words. Wanting to try and get some money back I agreed, and after another year no one of the key words are appearing on the first page. Wish I had never come across... (read more)

Did you not think to keep an eye on your rankings, you know, to see the progress. Did you not read the reports just search send through ?

Was in constant contact with the account manager, reveiwed results on a monthly basis and was told it takes time and given assurance's and promises that never materialsed. This is a very brief encounter of what happened in the first year. Second year was given free and pretty much the same story with less competitive key words. If they cant acheive results in two years then I am not going to waste any more time or loose anymore sleep over it. Im glad that somebody loosing over £15k made you laugh.

<br/>P.S If I didnt have a website then why would I post? Justsearch have requested that my comments be pulled, however after providing the reviewcentre with email evidence they re-instated it. Also I have no wish to advertise my website - justsearch know who I am and havnt bothered to contact me to discuss my grievances.

Hi. www.kruuz.co.uk is my site. I paid about £6000 for a years service (ended 31.3.2010).
What did i get? Nothing worth paying for, i would have been better off spending with google adwords. Im glad my contracts over, never again. They took on a joomla site of mine, then admitted they dont have joomla experts in the end. The Just Searching salesman confidently predicted one of the top 3 positions on the front page of google - verbally, although their contract has the usual 'no guarantees' clause. Don't be fooled by the sales talk. While in the contract they put the onus on us to do hours of work on our site with new web pages and continual blogging. The promises of consistent front page ranking for our favourite search term were never achieved. We wish we had saved our time and money and looked further afield. (read more)

Expectation management - I have always been given honest and truthful advice from the start, and if my expectations were a little unrealistic (which in hindsight they were at first!), I was told so.
Communication - there is always someone available to put my mind at ease if ever I have a question, and the team I have dealt with are always prepared to go above and beyond.

you must work at Just Search, because 9/10 clients wish they never ever used you guys, all said they would get top 3 position, none did, just the few you show on your home page which are easy search terms, leave these guys well alone trust me and all the others.

They got me to the first page in google over time. They even did some extra work on my site for free. I was hoping my results would move faster, it took nearly 2 months to get to the front page. Overall a very good service. The PPC and SEO services have done wonders for my website. They even gave me tips on doing the seo work myself. Well recommend justsearching.co.uk. (read more)

Take note of some genuine advice from a fellow UK small business. Today is Thursday 21 March and for at least the last week Just Search's own website has been banned from Google for the search term "seo" which is how most people find them (I did, "they must be good if they are so high up on Google themselves", right?). They get results quickly and everyone's happy before you'll be banned from Google. By that time your money's gone (£1000s right?) and they are into the next round of diddling. Fair and truthful advice. The truth is out there on Google. Thank you.
