Primo Levi,Rudolph Hess, Death Dealer: The Memoirs of the SS Kommandant at Auschwitz:
SS Kommandant Rudolph Hess was history's greatest mass murderer; he was responsible for assisting in the extermination of 2 million plus people. The book is a translation of his autobiography and includes copies of the original photos and minutes of the Wannsee Conference. I feel that the background information is interesting, but perhaps other small details are missing such as day-to-day life in the camp - how it was etc. It does make an interesting read
