Good Points: judges are good and compitative

Bad Points: performance round,not having different type of music, giving more importance to SMS indicate only who have money can get even if they are average,eg VIVEK

General comments: When we select the best singer on Idea Star Singer 2008, he must be the person to be realy awarded. here if a person is having more influence or money, even if he is an average singer, he will be awarded. Vivek cannot singas good as Prasobh or Rahul. Even he has got only 40 marks in one time, he came to the next stage, only because of his influence by money. It is fulishness to have performance round instead they can give different type of music sucha as karnatic,hindustani,kadhakali, thillan am etc by which their talent can be tested properly.I have felt it very sorry

Most of the keerthanams performed for classical round on Idea Star Singer 2008 are taken from great composers originated from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Hence the language usage while singing should also adhere to the pronounciation of the respective languages, which can avoid atleast the ridiculous image among people who doesn;t have much knowledge about Carnatic music.. for example, today, April 1st, ISS2008, first classical round was performed by Jins gopinath. he was singing "sugunamule j ...

Well.. I guess I said it all, basically get a mellow anchor so that we can watch the show without any irritation.

The Idea Star singer 2008 is a new series of the most successful musical reality program. YOu can enjoy and be part of this musical program .This program is telecasting on the channel Asianet daily at 8.30pm to 9.30pm.
