It is the easiest thing to sell through Friday-Ad and the identity safety system gives complete reassurance that you will not be open to contact by anyone who should not be contacting you. Have tried other sales sites but this one always works out best and, if you don't need to demonstrate what you are selling - no one needs to see a photo of a chicken wire fence - the adverts are free! i have contacted customer services several times concerning an issue which i asked for help with.... as i have over 21 items for sale AND I receive e-mails from your web-site concerning renewing/re-posting them....... I have requested instructions and information concerning how to renew/re-post all of the ads at the same time?.... I have gone to 'manage my ads' and 'selected all', however, there is not a link whereby i can re-post/renew my ads without adding the 'flashing'/'blinking' extras... (read more)

Adverts dont upload properly. Website never works properly. I payed for one ad and it did not upload . Spoke to customer service and seh said she would issue a refund . Took me a long time to get refund so was dissapointed with customer service. I use free ads but things would seriously need to change for me to start paying for ads on here. (read more)

Cannot recommend it more highly, bet you can't find that sort of deal anywhere else, wherever you live in the UK. there was nothing really that I didn't like about Friday Ad; you even get a reminder to refresh your ad each week. I used to like browsing the bargains on the Friday-ad, but now I am using an alternative source. The problem? absolutely masses of Google adverts, business adverts listed in the same list when you are just looking for private sellers, selling the odd item here and there. You get one or two private adverts, then inundated with unwanted business and private companies. They need to either remove the junk or add a filter, until such time I'll not be using the service. What I am pleased about is the free ads and the wide range of options,as a pensioner I find the paper and the on-line ads great reading and plenty of things that I did'nt know I wanted!. I use the friday ad to buy cheep things that are stil usefull. The website is very easy to use and it is cheap to sell things that are expensive (cars.etc) but to sell things under a certain price, it is FREE!!! And buying is easy. Its really easy to use the website, and its free which makes it even better. You can choose whether to have replies via email or not and people don't have your actual telephone number. It obviously works as I got a reply to an ad within 24 hours which was really unexpected. Unfortunately they do charge for printed ads but as online ads are free its worth it :) (read more)

I have used the Friday both for buying and selling at it is excellent! Because of their large fan base I always manage to sell my items and quickly too! It is really simple to use and it lists all the information for others when you wish to buy with remarkably few typos which helps when trying to buy and need clarity (e.g. on computer specificatons). too many adverts on searching,when you place an ad its always trying to get you to spend more money by having some upgrade boxes already ticked,which could confuse some people into spending more than they need to,when you try to place an ad,say in the wanted ad's you just cant click on wanted,you have to go into for sale first or click on the first box and search the second box for the right ad placement,should be made easier. For those who have never heard of the friday - ad then they should go to the site to investigate. Friday - Ad is a great way to sell unwanted items, buy cars, houses or even just to advertise an event.
