We were booked into the Charles Dickens Christmas Party for the 6th December, turned up at the venue all dressed up for the night and were told that it had been cancelled due to an overbooking. We have tried to contact Amazing events but there has been no answer. We have also contacted BBC Watchdog and they are looking to do a story on this for next Mondays show - so contact the show so that at least there might be some answers? (read more)

I booked our 2008 xmas party as a surprise for all the staff. i was so excited and couldn't wait to see all their faces when we walked into the venue. We have not received any phone calls or emails to inform us. We have paid cash up front. (read more)

We arrived there early along with the other 580 guests due that night only to be told it was cancelled. They were very very rude and very unproffesional 8in my opinion.
