Cocks Moor Woods Golf course is a really nice course. The layout and the design of the course is excellent. The different par holes are all varied and very different, with the back nine being particularly interesting in my opinion. The only problem with this course is that as it is a municipal course it could be better looked after, you do get the odd stranger or dog walker on the course who can be a bit off putting but for the price and the quality of the course lay out you cant really get much better.you're not going to get Augusta style greens here, but then again you're not paying for them.
