    Absolutely THE BEST travel speakers i've ever owned! And i've been through LOADS of them to try & find the one with the best sound. Beats Altec Lansing Orbit, & Nobi, much better than the X-mini & all similar wannabees (really CANNOT see what all the fuss is about those - they sound so tinny!) This is much better sounding than the JBL travel speakers too (the On Tour? Again, v overpriced & overated).

    My point is this:
    Battery life is fantastic: i've had the same batteries in for about 4 weeks & have used this extensively in the week & on 2 weekend camping trips. Absolutley amazing performance when you consider the great quality sound. Must have been easily running on the same set for well-over 30 hours.

    Small size & weight: especially considering sonic performance. Slips into a small bag really nicely.

    Cheap! Can be had for around a tenner off amazon uk if you're lucky! the absolute bargain of the new millenium! (I believe the RRP was originally around £50 - still a decent deal at that price IMHO)

    Sound quality: class beating sound! These are the ONLY speakers in this class of item that i've found that actually have VERY good BASS!! ALL the other speakers i've tried really struggle on bass (fair dues, they ARE small speakers after all), but these have obviously been incredibly well engineered to have excellent acoustic chambering & the bass is really fantastically good for such a small speaker. I can now listen to my Dub reggae on the move yet actually still hear that BASS.
    This is a fawning review, I realise, but these Nokia MD-3 speakers are simply amazing for the size.
    BUY SOME, NOW! :O)

    I compare the Nokia Music Speakers MD-3 with the more expensive JBL on tour. The Nokia sounds defenately better than the JBL and is more compact and stylish.
