Good Points: You catch the "I Can't Put it Down Syndrome!"
Very addictive and informative.
Heart warming.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: Just Another Kid was the first book of Torey Hayden's that I have read, and I am not disappointed. I couldn't put it down! It was so touching and informative. It makes you realise that sometimes you need to do the opposite of everyone else to allow the child to come to their potential.
It's not just about the children; in this book Torey also helps an alcoholic mother.
A Truly amazing book! The fact that this is all factual adds to the pleasure of reading it. I now have 3 other Torey Hayden books that I will start to read as soon as I have read my current book "Freaks, Geeks and Asperger Syndrome" by Luke Jackson.
