Good Points: This is an Excellent program overall. Freedom's spyware found MidAddle and two other Trojans that Spysweeper with Sophos, XoftSpyse, Bitdefender plus, Spydoctor, Spybot and Adaware didn't find (at least two of these programs promised to find MidAddle but only Freedom did). Freedom successfully found and deleted these programs, althought MidAddle returned following each reboot due to two backup files and the ability to reinstall from the Internet. MidAddle creators are clever and sick, sick people.

I finally got rid of MidAddle by installing Powerdesk 6.0 and using Freedom to direct me to the 13 MidAddle files. I closed my Internet connection and used Powerdesk to locate the files (My computer, Windows Explorer and Total Commander would not find these files). Then I deleted them all at one time with Powerdesk 6.0, with my Internet connection disabled, and they didn't come back. I paid a lot of money for 4 of the 6 Spyware programs mentioned above and I was about to spend another $20.00 on a MidAddle removal tool but found out the Freedom Security Suite I received free with my Adelphia high speed Internet worked better than the more highly rated that more expensive spyware programs. I was very pleased,

Bad Points: Loads slowly. I don't use the password protection feature because if you have to reinstall Freedom you lose all of your passwords. This happened to me twice. The backup file doesn't seem to work.

General comments: This is a follow up to the review I did last year. I had a lot of trouble removing MidAddle over the last week and I was successful only due to Freedom and Powerdesk. In fact, without Freedom Security Suite by Zero Knowledge, I would not even have known my laptop was infected by MidAddle and two other Trojans. Thank you Freedom and Powerdesk.

Zero-Knowledge Freedom 3.2 - Overall a very good value for the money. Did I mention I receive it for free. I like this program better than Norton due to Norton's need for a lot of system resources. I believe this program is as good as Norton at finding viruses, and also finds more spyware than my spysweeper program (which is a top rated program). Freedom also, has many other features like an excellent firewall that protects from in and out traffic. Overall I am very happy with this program and ...

I own a computer shop where Telus is a major ISP. Freedom is supplied free to their ADSL customers. I'd like to say you get what you pay for, but you don't ... the free antivirus programs out there work much better than Freedom. As soon as a computer comes into our shop with Freedom installed, we scan for a virus ... and normally find one. This doesn't count the problems with their firewall.

Zero-Knowledge describes this company very well.

Please DON'T install this. Better to have n ...

So far this Zero-Knowledge Freedom 3.2 antivirus program is relatively inexpensive compared to my three Nortons on three computers. Major problems so far are fairly slow loading, Zonealarm incompatabily. I will keep on using it for a while.

Free AVG a good choice for a single computer. (on my laptop)

Zero-Knowledge Freedom 3.2 Antivirus software causes some software that needs to upload or download to get errors. Particulary causes problems with Shoplink for Windows from ADP.

I run into this program at least twice a week causing customers to be unable to browse. Among firewalls it is 2nd only to ZoneAlarm at causing problems.

If you want your internet connection to work, do not install this product.

Zero-Knowledge Freedom 3.2 is very easy to use. Cheaper than its competitors. So inexpensive. The best thing is is that it offers more protection than Norton or McAfee. This really is a great product.

I have helped several people with new computers that this software comes preinstalled on. It works fine for a few days, even weeks, then suddenly they can't browse on the internet. Every time I've uninstalled the firewall/virus software it fixes the problem. Firewall software is supposed to protect your computer from the internet, not protect the internet from you.

Everytime I turn on my computer, I have to wait at least ten minutes for the Freedom program to come up. If I am doing something else when it does comes up it will shut that program down. It is very irritating to have to retype an assignment or get back online after this occurs.

Using the Zero-Knowledge Freedom 3.2 PC utility all of the above features can be managed by one interface. This saves time and offers a high level of security for your PC. You are protected from Viruses and Hackers in Real-Time with a good log description and 100% virus detection. The firewall does not leak and the Parental Control is highly effective. Overall a great product.
