Just returned from one week at the holiday village Sarigarme, 26/10/09.
Food was of an excellent standard in the restaurant, due to the bad press we avoided eating in the snack bars.
First Choice kids reps were great, remembered your children's name every time we saw them (Wavelength)
We won't be going back as we realised that this type of holiday is not what we are looking for but for those that like all inclusive and plenty of activities its great.
Lots of the holiday makers were drinking beer from 10am - not a pretty site. The attire in the evenings mainly consisted of Ugg boots and football tops - the dress code was completely ignored.
Lunchtime in the restaurant was good, tables were constantly cleared and replenished with cutlery and glasses, in the evenings it was a different matter.
Enjoyed the 3 restaurants on site that were included.
yes, pools were closed due to 'accidents' this also coincided with a huge transfer day - I have never known another hotel with poo problems so can't help but think that some people think its fun to leave a deposit on their last day, apparantly there is a facebook site that encourages you to poo in the pools!!
Hotel was immaculate, the toilets constantly had a someone cleaning them. There are so many staff here.
Towels for pool and beach were always available and freshly laundered. if you have booked this hotel don't worry, its absolutely fine.

On the 22nd Sept 09 we returned from a two week holiday in Sarigarme Holiday Village Turkey and had a wonderful time. We did a late deal only booking two weeks before, after which all the adverse publicity came out regarding bad hygiene, food poisoning, dirty pools ect as you can imagine we were very sceptical about what we were going to face when we got there and after suffering food poioning in Mexico last year I was very apprehensive, but I needn't have worried, it was the best all inclusive ...- Read Guest's review (117 words)

Me and my family had an amazing time at the holiday village. we had 2 younger children in our party who made full use of the kids clubs and they loved it! Some people may say the food is the same every day which is true, but there is so many choices it takes you all week to try every thing! i recommend trying the themed restaurants, we only got round to trying the italian and it was very nice. due to small children, quite a few pools got shut throughout are stay but it didnt really bother us as ...- Read Guest's review (248 words)

I just got back from the Holiday Village Turkey and i really really enjoyed my self it was fantastic even though it was just me and my mum. the people there were always so nice and everything was so spotless. the entertainment was quite good aswell. I reccomend the SPA to anyone.
Also you should go on the 12 island tour the adult one is better as there are no kids running around and crying.
However for the kids there is a great little kids club and loads of activities that they can do.

Pools and surrounding gardens were great and well kept. Kids club and soccer school were fantastic. Mega expensive in the on site supermarkets, mega expensive after 24:00 when all inclusive runs out, £8.00 for whiskey and coke, £40 for Turkish own sparkling wine, £300 for bottle of champagne. Mini bar not all inclusive and prices not subsidised. Evening entertainment ok if you like "my way", "mr bojangles" and any other song from the fifties and sixties- Read leiammoore's review (75 words)

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the holiday village. We were told we had booked the most exclusive room, a jacuzzi suite and would have a DVD player, these are in fact only available in the jacuzzi rooms, the room was also a lot smaller than we had expected. The reception staff were not very helpful and some were quite surly. As we were in reception waiting to leave there were a large number of people attending the first choice desk with a number of complaints. I would strongly r ...- Read Guest's review (218 words)

It was a shame to write a lot of negative comments on the resort, but if you are planning to go then it is only fair you hear both sides, I didn't think the food was good at all, it was the same everyday, we had to queue up at 07.30 in the morning to try to get a seat in the restaurants and when we did we only got a choice of 2 mains?? We went out to eat several times which is not what we wanted to do after going all inclusive... We will certainly not be going back.- Read terry67's review (237 words)

We had a fantastic week here (15th-22nd May 08). We are a family of 4 (my sons are 8 & 13). The hotel is fantastically clean, staff are very friendly & helpful, the housekeeper on our floor was lovely. The food is amazing, plenty of choice for even the fussiest eater. I fully recommend the Italian restaurant there. The pools are fab. It is well worth a walk into Sarigerme to buy any essentials as the hotel shop is overpriced. I would also recommend booking some of the fabulous excursions. We had ...- Read rachael1974's review (177 words)
