    Dave Pelzer, The Privilege of Youth: My Story of Longing for Acceptance and Friendship - Both my mom and my friend told me to read these books. So, I did! They are truly sad stories and it was tough to read due to the things that David went through. I got through them and they were excellent. It sure made me respect my parents so much more!!
