I have recently completed the CBT. The course was about 8 hours and it was extremely well planned. It was divided into classroom theory, on-site bike riding skills, followed by a 2 hour scooter ride on the roads with the instructor and two students. My instructor was an excellent teacher - extremely knowledgeable, proficient, professional, polished with a great sense of humour. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable learning experience. Took my cbt for the 5th time , after riding my scooter for 4 years. Failed twice the first time round and having to retake every 2 years. As usual at get bike I really enjoyed myself and it refreshed my memory how to ride safetly and get rid of my bad habits I picked up while riding on my own. My instructor was Stan and he really takes notice to everything you do and how you ride. Would reccomend get bike 110‰ to anyone, and it´s worth travelling to even if you come from a distance... Had an amazing day! The team were professional and welcoming from start to finish. Arrived a little late, but was warmly welcomed to the group and told the plan for the day. Everything was explained fully before getting out onto the bikes to reassure the younger /less experienced members of the group. I renewed my CBT at Getbike. I had done the first one somewhere two years ago where I got very disappointed with the careless of the informations regarding the Highway code and the its importance. From the moment i walked into the door, i was greeted with a friendly face with a smile. I was directed to the appropiate room instantly and as soon as i walked in, was put at ease by the friendly nature of my instructor (terry). What a fantastic team, I've just got home after completing my CBT!. They took me from someone who'd never sat on a motorbike, a nervous wimp spouting apologies, to a confident road user in the space of 10 hours. I am so glad I did it. They taught us in groups of three, so you really have the one to one attention you need, which gives a lot of confidence and they don't mind how many times you make a mistake whilst your learning to control the bike. Very Friendly, and helpfull instructors. The whole day was very informative and stress free. I personaly thought the course was well thought out and the classes not too large, which enabled the instructors to give each rider, be it on Scooter or Motor Cycle the necessary if needed extra help as and when needed. Great thorough training and all your questions, if you have any, will be answered. The course really is as easy, or as hard, as you make it. Listen carefully to instructions, apply everything you're told whilst riding and you'll fly through the training. I have just completed my CBT at get a bike. The course was a full day course, including theory and practice and it was I must say very well organised. My instructor, Toby was wonderful, professional and always very helpful to explain us anything we didn't know plus he had a good sense of humour. It was an amazing day!
I was a complete beginner and had never been anywhere near a scooter before. My instructor was so patient and helpful which gave me the confidence to achieved what I achieved on the day.
I felt completely safe the entire time and was given amazing instruction and guidance.

Completed CBT Course for the second time last friday. Had Terry as an instructor who was very knowledgable on all matters. The weather was bad all day but the course was enjoyable, Terry made me feel at ease all day, i have no hesitation in recommending Get Bike and Terry as the place to be for bike training. The only down side to the day on my journey home on my bike, i performed a perfect emergency stop in wet conditions, but the car behind me did not. My Scooter is now in the repair shop... (read more)

Thank you to both Bob and Tony for helping me pass my CBT which is something that's been on my To Do list for ages. outstanding training really very informative and complete. It was easy to learn all the information because the way Maxine teach you is fabulous. she is a great trainer. Although I was late due to a navigation error, Toby allowed me to participate in the CBT training. His instructions were very clear and his manner of dealing with both myself and the other rider were fantastic. I found the course to be both entertaining and educational. A wonderful day spent doing my CBT. Our instructor Max was fantastic - strict, yet kind and encouraging. I could not believe how much she managed to teach us in a single day. I was particularly impressed by the focus on road safety. Excellent - the trainer was extremely helpful and informative. The one-to-one session due to no other trainees registering for that session was particularly helpful as it meant I had more input from the trainer. Lots and lots of practical input gave me the confidence I needed to be able to ride on the road.
