I have a lot of praise for the people at Camrider. They took me a complete novice from CBT through to passing the large bike test. The whole process was well thought through, the bikes were new and obviously kept in excellent condition. Nothing seemed to much of a trouble for the instructors or booking staff. Before I start, I would give CAM rider 5 stars for the facilites and bike standards. However my instructor was of an appaling standard. After less than an hour on the bike I was told I was not competent for the road ride. Arrived at 9 and was walking home at 11.40. The other learner who was there had already had her CBT for two years and even had her own bike. While I was learning clutch control the other learner was ready for the road ride. Its going to be tuff not to ramble here as I have so many positive things I can say about CamRider so I apologise in advance, but I really hope anyone looking to take lessons in Chester reads this and goes with these guys as they really were top quality at every level. The bikes were well maintained and there were even bikes for the vertically challanged.
From the first call through to getting my pass certificate every detail was taken care of by my instructor or the office based staff all of which were professional but friendly which puts you at ease straight away, even after a bike break of 20yrs!
The lessons progressed at a pace to the individuals learning pace with regular updates on riding through the earpeice and during breaks. This team love their...

I did my training at Camrider in Sawston, and they are a brilliantly friendly and professional group of people. As an older lady rider, I was treated with kindness and the kind of confidence I needed to make me feel as if I could succeed. No question was ever too much, and advice was freely given on any topic concerning motorcyling. I done my CBT with CAMRIDER in September 2008, and they were fantastic.
I failed my first CBT with them as I kept leaving my indicators on (classic rookie mistake), but other than that I was really pleased with how far I'd come in just one day, the instructors are patient, and really know their stuff.
I then returned to do another half days road riding which was fantastic, improved vastly and passed.

I did my CBT with cam rider as the first part of my direct access. I can't fault their professionalism and more impotently they made it fun (and I passed both first time thanks to them!)
I also returned for the DVLA post test course and I've recommended them to several of my friends, can't say much more than that.

I took my CBT with Camrider at the late age of 44, they were very considerate, friendly & patient with me. I was so impressed I bought my 2 teenangers mopeds & of course they went to Camrider for their CBT. I'm now looking forward to taking my Big bike test along with my son. Every member of staff make what could be a very nervous day, into a quite enjoyable day with the delight of your certificate at the end.

Very professional group of people.Nothing was too much trouble for them to get me through both parts of the new test. Very knowledgeable and experienced instructors, and I had a great time with Nick and Luke. Although I did use my own gear, everything was provided if I needed it, including free tea and coffee. I would have no hesitation in recommending CAMrider to anyone. They are about the best you can get. (read more)

I passed my CBT and DAS with CAMrider just before the test changed last year. I went to CAMrider from a recommendation from my brother. I cannot praise them enough. The training site is well stocked and the instructors and other staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I trained with Liam (CBT) Alan, Nick and Luke (DAS) and all four were excellent. I think the "guest" has got the wrong end of the stick with this one. I have never trained with Camrider as i already posess my full licence but after looking around for somewhere for my brother to do his CBT and DAS i am settled on Camrider. The website clearly states that the bike hire is included in the price as well as the protective equipment i.e jacket, gloves, helmet, high vis jacket etc. As for attempting to flog you a second CBT for you to use a geared motorcycle is sceptical.... Camrider - The best motorcycle training providers available. Excellent instruction, good quality bikes and great value. Contrary to one malicious review on this site, my bike and protective clothing was all included in the price! They deserve 5 stars, just watch how many past pupils will attest to that!

Excellent company to use. Instructors and very friendly and patient. Did my cbt and das over 5 days in April. Had only ever ridden a moped before, was made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. i completed my direct access course nearly 2 years ago with cam rider, i had an ace time with the instructers who were really friendly. nick and luke were a great laugh! all the kit was supplied and in really good condition, the bikes were all maintained well and in good order. even tea and coffee was included (its the little things for me)!
