Good Points: There are no good points

Bad Points: Bad service, poor food, rude staff, seriously overcharged for our wine

General comments: We visited Toto ' s last night and ended up wishing we hadn ' t! The restaurant is lovely, very light and well furnished and I ' m afraid that is the only good thing about the place. With poor service and food which was at best just mediocre, this was an expensive mistake. From a fork which inflicted a cut finger (the handle had a razor sharp burr) to trying to fob us off with a different bottle of wine when we ordered a second one, it was an ' interesting 'meal!

Never have I been as disgusted with a restaurant. My poor mother had to stand for 40 minutes and when informed of her dietary requirements they seemed rude to us.

I wanted to treat my mum to a nice birthday present. I felt we were best off staying at home.

Toto Ristorante Bury is the best restaurant in the surrounding ten mile area.
    I know I've tried them all ;-)
When I look at the menu, I always choose something I cant cook at home myself and normally at other restaurants there maybe one or two dishes to choose from, but at Totos most of the menu is worthy of appearing on masterchief.
I am stuck for choice and the service is good and they do not rush you to clear your table for the next sitting.
I went with the fiancee and we had
    2 beers
    2 vodka ...

What can I say? The best pizza and garlic bread I have ever had outside of Italy, to start with. In this part of North Manchester, nothing can match it - and we've tried all of the Italian restaurants at some point. This place has the perfect pizza - and the best garlic bread I've ever tasted (try the tomato). And it is very good value for money too. We keep on coming back, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming - and especially good, like most Italians, with families with children.

I had an absolutely gorgeous carbonara and my friend had the fillet steak in a wonderful mushroom and white wine sauce. Talking of wine it has an excellent selection that doesn't cost the earth - the perfect combination for a great night out!! I hadn't been before but I'll be going back.
