A&B do provide updates and the work appears to be of good quality until it is a few months old.

The problems start when you complain- at that point the service becomes shockingly poor- they lie about the work that they have done and they are unable even to provide a consistent and convincing lie let alone good repair work.

Never believe the lies of a man who works there called Tony- ask him a few simple questions and you can guarantee his story will crumble!!! All he will say is um, ah, um, ah and try to repeat the same stuff he has already told you.

If you have had any paintwork done, you will probably find that it will become defective and they will blame the sun and heat.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

First accident in 9 years and my insurers said my car had to go to A&B - I then read the reviews and my heart sank. Actually, the reviews have turned out to be wrong - A&B are even worse. I cannot believe how they can survive or why insurers use them. As a result I am changing insurers becasue if they want to use firms like A&B, I dont want to use them

I have no problem with A and B - they have just completed a fantastic job on my car after it was rear-ended.
I read this site after my car was carted off to A and B for repairs and I must admit I was terrified. But I have to say - the work was of a high standard and the staff were always curteous and helpful.

Direct Line use A&B Autos as authorised repairer. My car was returned with a shoddy job that will have to be done again and further damage to the seat belt. New door sill has not been completed properly ie. grommets missing, holes bare, parts not resprayed or waxed. Starting to rust already. Paint oversprayed underneath. Sill bent on leverage points ie. not protected when raised. Finally, driver's seatbelt had paint on and some ham-fisted bloke had tried to rub it off and frayed the belt itself ...

A & B Autos, Horsham, are incompetent, slow & demonstrate complete disregard for your property. Avoid at all costs!

My car was involved in a reasonably substantial accident in 2003 when only a number of months old and unfortunately at this time A & B Autos were approved repairers by both my insurers and my car maker. So as they were also quite local to me (rather irrelevant really as the car had the accident in London and was undrivable afterwards and had to be stored overnight and then taken to them by transporter) I stupidly thought why not give my business to a local firm.At the time things did not go wel ...

Like the previous reviewer I was told by my insurance company to use A&B Autos, they took my car away and then took over a week to source parts, then another week to fit the parts and paint/polish. My car has come back with some scratches I never noticed before, what look like paint drips on the bonnet (the repair was to the back bumper) and a wobbly back bumper.

My insurance company employed A & B Autos to carry out a simple repair to my car in March 08. A local independent garage had already told me that parts were easy to come by and the repair should take no more than 4 days to complete. A & B Autos have taken almost 4 weeks to complete this repair - leaving me without a car for most of this time.Every time I spoke to them they had a different explanation for the delay. Each time I spoke to them I found it difficult to hear what was being said.I am s ...
