    My experience with this 'Totallyriviera' agency differed greatly than the previous reviewer. I sought to buy a property in the area around Nice and was originally contacted by the owner , who was certainly nice, polite and made an effort to be diligent about the process. However, that diligence involved handing me over to his local man in Nice, who was anything but reliable. From day one I was told the agency would be with me for the enitre process, through closing and if necessary for contacts post closing. That was not the case. Literally, once the Purchase Agreement was agreed and negotiated, Nice agent disappeared. He was nowhere to be found regarding closing, failed to inform of little things.... the need to obtain insurance, never did a walk through of the place pre closing, failed to get a set of keys for the premsises, failed to obtain he "card" that comes with the keys inorder to make additional sets, failure to get the alarm information or "card" necessitating me to obtain a "new card" for 500 euros. He even suggested to our local property manager to not inform us that he failed to get these items. I found his conduct highly unprofessional to say the least, and when we first entered the property after closing, the place had been absolutely ripped apart by the sellers, taking things they were not supposed to and leaving holes in the wall. Francois never did a walk through at or before closing, so this was all news to him. Initial contact seems like a good man, but I would never recommend the Nice agent to anyone.

    We've been visiting Nice and the rest of this amazing coastline for nearly 10 years. We never dreamed that one day we could own a little piece of what has become a haven for us.We first read about TotallyRiviera in an article in the Guardian about 2 years ago.
