    Good Points: The rooms are very nicely equipped with Plasma TV's, internet, etc. The staff is bilingual. 24 hour concierge service. Location, location, location! It's in between a coffee shop, in front of Fonda de la Calle Real, and 2 minute walking distance of the main square. Breakfast was complete with eggs, fruit, bread, black beans, tomatoe sauce, cheese, etc. Much better than breakfast served in Panajachel.


    Bad Points: No bad points.


    General comments: El Meson de Maria is beautiful hotel. The rooms, the service and the staff made my wife and my trip delightful. I am a 38 banker, I can say I prefer to relax in a nice quiet hotel, than stay at any noisy, expensive one. This hotel went beyond my expectations. I enjoyed the rooms that are quiet and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful suggesting excellent restaurants, like Fonda de la Calle Real. Also, my wife wanted to make some last minute tours and they helped arrange everything.
