    Good Points: As above


    Bad Points: Upon leaving Bangkok for Cambodia we were told our luggage was 1.9kg over in weight, and were charged $16.00 Australian for this. My concern is not the money but the scales they use, how often are they calibrated, the reason i say this is because we flew from Siam Reap ,Phonh Penh and finally from KL to Australia and whilst in these travels we brought numerous nick knacks as well as clothing and when we left KL our luggage weighed 39.6 Kls and not 41.9kls very strange don,t u think. Because of this i think we will give Bangkok Airways a miss next time, i feel that it was an extra exit tax that they raised for themselves.I will for sure be letting my Travel Agent know, and in these economic times when every $ counts be careful Bangkok Airways.


    General comments: My wife and i used Bangkok Airways extensively through out Thailand . We found the staff very nice and the planes always on time.

    We thought that Bangkok Airways offered us old planes, poor service. Flight cancelled 1 month after booked, 5 months before fight scheduled.

    We turned up at Hong Kong airport January 2009 for a flight to Cambodia which we had booked in July 2008 to find it had been cancelled in August 2008 and we had not been informed.

    Office staff did not respond to complaints. Very unprofessional.

    Fast and efficient service. Flew Bangkok to Koh Samui return with Bangkok Airways. Easy check in, very polite staff. On time. Fed on the short flight. A delight.

    BKK-Chiang Mai. Fantastic. Great check-in, smooth flight, attentive service, friendly crew, great food. The plane (STR72) was clean and bright inside. I was very happy. Would recommend this airline to anyone and found them to be much better on domestic flights than Thai Airlines. Oh and the funkiest looking planes. European airlines (Easy Jet and Ryan Air for example) could learn plenty from these guys).
