For the second year running I have tried to renew my car tax online, but it is not working. I keep getting a message saying that my insurance is not valid knowing fully well that my car insurance was processed a couple of weeks ago. So I have to get all the needed documents and process in the post office. What a joke!!! (read more)

I've used the DVLA website for the last few years to update my road tax online. Like with other UK motorists I get the "rnew my road tax" letter a few weeks before I need to buy it new. All I then do is log on and input the remonder code printed on the letter and give them my credit card number. I don;t even need to confirm my name or anything as the DVLA search the car insurance database to make sure I own the car & I'm insured, then they send the tax disc to the car owners address. Perfect! (read more)
