Good Points: Accurate out to 50 yards, simple design and to use

Bad Points: Abit fiddley fitting in a pellet and abit wieghty but thats the same with most pcp's

General comments: I recently bought a Daystate Harrier .177 with 3-9x40 scope for £150 and after several good sessions with it, i must say its accurate which is most important to me. This rifle can hit consistantly at 50 yards. Another feature which make this a nice rifle is that it is easy to use, appart from the slight difficulty of fitting a pellet in. But the rifle has a nice feel to it and has a good shot capaccity, i get 60 shots (at 170 bar)before the power realy starts to drop off. I cetainly recomend this rifle For those wonder how i aquired this airgun cheaply, it is 6 years old and still maintains its high performance. It's a good buy.

Just bought my first compressed air rifle I have always used spring operated rifles in the past I was delighted at the accuracy of the rifle at 35 yards I can put pellets on top of pellets.

I traded my S410K .22 that was 4 months old in for this Harrier which was second hand and I love it. The S410k was good but this is another class and I`m very fussy about my rifles being a hunter I can't afford to be let down. The accuracy of this thing is excellent.

To be truthful I own the Xisico BAM 50/51 series of PCP rifles. For those of you who don't know, these are near exact knockoffs of the Daystate Harrier . For fun I borrowed a Daystate at a nearby shooting range. The owner got it for $400 used and thought he got a good deal. Didn't have the heart to tell him I got my knock off for $299. While you can't argue this PCP does shoot very well, it does have a few problems: 1. Mounting a scope means loading pellets can be a chore as the scope ...

Overall very disappointed in the Daystate. 160 bar fill presure supposed to get 65 shots but the power starts to drop of after 25-30 shots. I experimented with different fill presures and about 10 different types of pellets really gave it a good going over. Not defeated at first hurdle but enough is enough now, so getting rid of it. Everyone has their own opinions but this is mine hope it helps you out very disappointed with the gun.

I purchased the Walnut version Daystate Harrier in .177 in February of this year (2006). The first day of use, I managed to get through almost 400 various pellets! I found that the Bisley Magnums and the Logun Penatrators seemed Ideally matched for this rifle with magnificent clover shaped holes at over 25 yds. As power dropped, so did the pellets, but grouping at closer ranges were still consistantly good. Admittedley, this is the 1st rifle I have bought since my childhood days of the old BS ...

I have just swapped my Falcon FN12 Lighthunter for a brand new Daystate Harrier air rifle with a beech stock. I got some cash back as well. How pleased am I? It is an excellent gun for hunting and target shooting. Just a little smaller than the Huntsman, and with much simpler cocking than the FN12. 60 shots for hunting, and around 40 consistent shots for field targets using Daystates 4.52 or Air Arms 4.52. The 2 types of pellets are virtually the same pellet.

The Daystate Harrier Air Rifle is good for pest control. It does need a recharge from an air tank every 20 shots to maitain accuracy though. Mediocre for FT

overall the harrier is just an outstanding rifle. it has a good amout of power and you get a lot of shots out of the gas reservoir considering its size.

Just bought a S/H Daystate Harrier Air Rifle- approx 5 years old complete with silencer and Simmons Deerfield 3-9x50 scope. Traded in a Weirauch HW99S which I had bought new 6 months ago and which was giving me accuracy problems due to 'bounce' and despite the addition of scopes I was struggling for consistency. Having been a regular shot for 30 plus years I had always favoured the break barrel spring system air gun and the Daystate was my first experience of a Pre Charged Gun. I was not ...

Just bought a Harrier in R/H thumbhole walnut stock. Got an excellent bargain due to the ten shot version just come out. Fantastic performer, good accuracy, consistent over wide range differences, plenty powerful enough. This gun feels really solid in its construction, unlike some of the others that were under consideration, (Falcon FN19, Air Arms S400), very solid action, easy loading and cocking. Spoken to plenty of existing owners about reliability, these guns just dont go wrong! My local ...
